In the interview during the presidential campaign that was broadcasted on PTV-4, Pres. Marcos, Jr said. “Yung corruption, talagang hindi matitigil yan. Dahil as I keep reminding everyone, corruption is not a Filipino condition, it is a human condition.” Mr. President, if you want to do it, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse. Now, because you spoke it out that corruption cannot be stopped, you are giving life to what you are saying. It's because nothing is more powerful than what you say about yourself. By saying that corruption is unstoppable, you are condemning the Filipinos to be a victim forever rather than a victor.
Mr. President, Corruption is the biggest fish to fry. To start on an extreme
note, the people have been pushed to the end of their tether; that is how the
Corruptors have the nation wrap around their fingers. Mr. President, please
show to your people that you’re the guy who wears your heart on your sleeve.
Otherwise, your fall will come hard and fast. Mr. President, are you not
ruminating why the media is not criticizing and kicking you down yet? It’s
their twisted strategy because all you are doing so far are not advancing and
creating anything that make the country looking better. But instead preventing
you from achieving progress to the nation. They are applying what Napoleon
Bonaparte said: Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.
Mr. President, we must complete our economic recovery from the embers of the
past in a way that does not plunge us back into new forms of domination and
oppression. There isn’t special that we have to do in our economic recovery
game plan. It is only doing the one thing we should have done in the past
decades—leaders must live by example to stop corruption and should wield the
power that their excellence affords, which is our transcendent talent and never
say die attitude potential.
Mr. President, if you're not living under the rock, you should know that
winning against corruption is guaranteed as a panacea that could be described
as an all eggs in one basket scenario. Once the corruptors are wipeout, it will
transform the country’s change in fortune, from rags to riches. That’s why, how
to catch these thieves should be your first, second, and third priority.
