THE ABS-CBN PLAYBOOK “CATCH ME IF YOU CAN”

The Abs-Cbn tried wiggling out to come back on their TV Broadcasting. They could have got scotch free with the machinations, double-cross, and subterfuge using Amcara Channel 43. But the cheer turned to despair as the NTC will issue an Alias writ for Cease and Desist Order.

The Abs-Cbn through Gabby Lopez who refuses to live by the norms is capable of evil far beyond anything your imagination could ever conjure up. His blatant and fearless sprees of fraudulent practices and deception with ferocious desire for quick money are now beyond the pale and can be viewed as loose cannon in a perverse sort of way.

The Abs-Cbn is going belly up on the verge of losing everything. That is the worst thing Gabby Lopez could ever do, driving with his ego to shame.

THE BBC HARD TALK INTERVIEW ON MARIA RESSA

Looking at the BBC's Stephen Sackur Hard Talk with an absolutely objective eye, no one would be disposed to accept as gospel truth Maria Ressa’s accusation of wrongdoing against PRRD in view of the existence of a wide chasm between the accusations and proof. People like Maria Ressa has demonstrated a propensity towards bigotry. Her rattling and prattling just reeked the craziness, that’s what I call the mishegoss on her part.

It was nuts, there was no sense to it because what she says are all unsupported by even the faintest whisper of authority in fact and law. Therefore, they are all fabricated lies.

But what sums it up about everything despite all the malicious and prevaricated accusation of Maria Ressa against PRRD, the one that knocks all imputation out was when Stephen Sackur demonstrated his disbelief when he said to Maria Ressa and I quote:  “Do you think the Filipino public really care about your fate and indeed the fate of other journalists in your country? Because when one looks at Duterte’s approval rating, they are consistently above 80 percent approval, the kind of figure that other leaders around the world could only dream about.”

Truly, Maria Ressa’s hatred and sarcasm carried her or that her unpleasant loneliness like the rest of her 100 reporters makes them go into dungeons of no return. You’re all making a nonsensical point now and I think you should crawl back into your hole.

WHY IS ABS-CBN STILL ON THE AIRWAVES EXPLAINED

So many people were asking in my Post at Facebook how come the Abs-Cbn was able to re-emerge on-air and continue their broadcasting on television when their franchise had expired. This is how the Abs-Cbn went around making a mockery of the law.

The Abs-Cbn bought the franchise of Ankara, which is channel 43. But the sale is illegal because, under the law, the sale of Ankara franchise cannot be valid without the approval of Congress and the NTC.

Likewise, the Abs-Cbn has also a sky cable, Ankara channel, and Abs-Cbn convergence. They have also the TV-Plus with 10 channels that are incorporated. All of these mentioned have been operating without a franchise nor a provisional authority to operate from NTC.

Nevertheless, the Abs-Cbn was adamant in insisting they do not need a franchise in these operations by virtue of Executive Order 205, dated June 30, 1987, of erstwhile Pres. Cory Aquino issued at the time the country was under Revolutionary Government. But sadly, this EO 205 has been superseded by the 1987 Constitution and rendered without force and effect.

Consequently, the argument of Abs-Cbn is gratuitous, therefore obiter and egregiously demonstrates their apparent incorrigibility. If a sinister pattern of bad faith is apparent to commit fraud, how can they not be imprisoned for ECONOMIC SABOTAGE AND PLUNDER?

There are no sacred cows here. if an ordinary person cannot enrich himself through fraudulent means, why should the Abs-Cbn be allowed to profit and make use of their media entity tainted by theft or robbery or smeared with the blood of crime?

INDULGING INTO A FALSE SENSE OF VICTORY

The Abs-Cbn and those complicit with them have a false sense of victory with the dismissal by the Supreme Court of the Quo Warranto case filed by Solgen Calida. In the quo warranto petition, the relief prayed for is the cancellation of the franchise by virtue of the alleged violation by the Abs-Cbn of the provisions of the Constitution and the terms of the franchise. However, the franchise itself upon which the petition prayed to be canceled has died a natural death due to its expiration of the period of its existence. Therefore, the Supreme Court has no alternative but to dismiss the petition for being moot and academic or one that is irrelevant.

Accordingly, the application for renewal of the franchise by the Abs-Cbn now under consideration before Congress would now be considered inapplicable. The Abs-Cbn has to apply for a new franchise. In which case, it is as sure as the sun rising in the East that the Abs-Cbn cannot be issued a franchise because Law violators, lawbreakers, tax evaders, foreigners, thieves, and rogues are not entitled to a franchise.

LEA SALONGA SAYS: PUTANG INA, “ANG MGA PILIPINO MAHIRAP MAHALIN.”

I cannot sit idly by the kind of curse to the Filipinos. Thus, I poured all my sentiments today on the occasion of “Father’s Day”

From scratch, Lea Salonga as a gifted child was chasing a dream in the movie screen as a child actress. By then, the Filipinos were looking at Lea Salonga in all glowing terms, gave her love and support and she was transformed into a special rose, dressed so delicately in its fragrant velveteen petals. The Filipinos made her personality too shiny. But sadly, later on, we find that it’s her own very shoes that are causing the dirt.

As in the nature of things, because she was so caught up in her own bubbles, she forgets to think about and appreciate the things that the Filipinos did for her and the sacrifices they made in spending their last cents just to watch her movies and concerts. She became hopelessly lost in the maze of life. You see, confused thoughts produce confused results.

Now she bites the hand that fed her when recently she says: Putang Ina, ang mga Pilipino Mahirap Mahalin. This is what it is called ungrateful.

You know what, when it rains it pours. Now, Lea Salonga will lost all her endorsements because the companies that hired her as talent are all Filipinos. Truly, everyone must take care of his/her success that he/she should never be complacent because where you are now something will turn up, as it always does, that could change your life within seconds.

THE FILIPINO PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF ALL THIS

A well-packaged web of lies, hatred, screwed facts, this time by GMA 7 which took over the role of Abs-Cbn that in their news, their utterances are casting aspersions to the government, making up anything that will shake the community like the thunders of prophecy. It has become a sarcastic proverb that a thing must be true if you hear it on television. The result had been that we are daily overfed and suffer a surfeit. By habit we stow this much every day, indeed, we almost get tired of it.

But the enemies’ shenanigans have become so completely familiar and prosaic as to seem platitudinous. They are doing it because the oligarchs told them to do it. It is a sad day that the enemies of PRRD are drawn to their self-destruction like a moth to the candle. They are the people who are lost, scattered in the winds of time beyond the memory of man.

Nevertheless, PRRD wins against all the odds as he became light as brilliant and piercing as the brightest star for the Filipinos. It is because he does his thing not to be exalted but the people exalted him for everything he does; he is not tall but he stands up tall and takes control; he is not driven by circumstances but by the dream of the Filipinos they have dreamt for long; he does not abide by the common norms of the society but he makes his own rules to save lives and instill order for the country; he does not depend on destiny but the result of his action is his destiny; and when his enemies give him their worse to oust him, he gives them his best to serve the Filipinos.

Never you mind, these enemies are all bark but no bite. It is just that their whim and fancy carry them or their unpleasant loneliness makes them go into dungeons of no return.

TRIBUTE TO THE FIGHTING FILIPINOS THIS INDEPENDENCE DAY

I will only be too glad if I can excite in you the courage and bravery of the Filipinos about how WE fight for our freedom. If any foreign country started to rock our dignity and our national pride at every going moment with every ticker of the clock, WE fight to our last breath. Bravery and courage are always in the pipeline in our hearts and soul that anyone who tries to mess with our national pride, it would be the end of the line and we fight like everything depends on it.

Two countries invaded the Philippines, first was Spain. Spain made the Filipinos miserable in every sense of the word. Our ancestors staged a revolt until Spain lost interest in fighting. Thus, on June 12, 1898, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo declared independence from the Spanish colonization.

However, liberty was short-lived because Spain sold the Philippines to America. But the Americans had thrown our nation into the fathomless gloom and doom. The Filipinos started a revolt against it in 1899 and like Spain, America emancipated the Philippines from their bondage. Consequently, the Filipinos achieved national sovereignty on July 4, 1946, through the Treaty of Manila.

Independence Day was officially observed on July 4 until Pres. Diosdado Macapagal, signed Republic Act No. 4166 on August 4, 1964, which set out to move the holiday to June 12.

Indeed, our reputation as Filipinos is known as one that will just take everything until they get worn out and take no more. Once our metric is full, no mountain is too high and no dragon is too fierce. It is our human element that no force can resist.

A POETIC JUSTICE FOR THE ABS-CBN

The issuance of a franchise is a make or break moment for the Abs-Cbn. But the collated pieces of evidence against the issuance of a franchise are overwhelming. They are from tax evasion, violation of the terms of its franchise, issue of American citizenship, absconding government loans, selling 50% shares of Abs-Cbn to a US company in America contrary to the Constitution, etcetera.

With these violations of the law, the problem of the Abs-Cbn vis-à-vis of getting a franchise cannot be solved if Gabby Lopez keeps displaying his nerve of steel, if not by lying through his teeth.

So it seems that almost all the owners of the Abs-Cbn already have one foot out of the door and are simply just waiting for somebody in Congress to push their buttons so that way they can step out completely from the broadcasting business.

It’s easy to say in hindsight and that every single soul of the Filipino people have always been aware of how the Abs-Cbn looked down and despised PRRD and became the drumbeater for the Yellows to oust him even before the ink could dry. You get the sense that the Abs-Cbn is going to stab PRRD in the heart in the end.

The scene in everyday news at Abs-Cbn was just nuclear, it was just very toxic, and everybody was just very immersed in the kind of character assassination like it was nothing and completely disrespecting him on a public level was beyond insane. He was a name that was kind of thrown in the shadows by the Abs-Cbn done with impunity. But it was a colossal mistake destined to crash and burn.

Nevertheless, the question now is: who is so riddled with guilt after all? Right now, regret is Gabby Lopez’s only companion. Indeed, people in a precarious moral position shouldn't point out the failings of others.

For me, it was a dream come true and for others, it was a lost fantasy that vanished never to return.

THE ABS-CBN LAST STAND IS LIKENED TO THE BATTLE OF THE LITTLE BIGHORN

On the issue of Gabby Lopez’s dual citizenship, some Congressmen and lawyers of Abs-Cbn in a purloined argument posit that the law does not say that only Filipino citizens can own and manage mass media companies. The said argument is merely trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip. Article 16, Sec. 11, number 1, of the Constitution, provides:

Section 11.
1. The ownership and management of mass media shall be limited to citizens of the Philippines, or to corporations, cooperatives or associations, wholly-owned and managed by such citizens.

The above provision is crystal clear and needs no further elucidation or clarification.

Thus, The law had a ring of desperation and defeat to the Abs-Cbn. Now they’re likened to a frog in boiling water that their situation gradually becoming worse, without those involved realizing the peril affecting them until it's too late. Their situation has taken the wind out of their sails, so to speak, and by their inveigling, they must now limp to shore as best they can.

THE WAY OF THE SNAKE WILL FOOL ANY WHO TRY TO FOLLOW

You people that are against THE ANTI-TERRORISM BILL are making a terrible mistake. I mention this without a tinge of personal hostility or reproach but as man to man in a spirit of kindly helpfulness and constructive objectivity. With the overwhelming strength of THE ANTI-TERRORISM LAW, the terrorists have only one direction, backwards.

These terrorists sympathizers seems like the local wildlife took a run out of them. They always talk a big game but at the end of the day, they’re mostly men and women who just like the sound of their own voices. They are cursing us with war and death, and cut the whole world down to size. This is how they are wired.

Things kind of drifted because high or low wherever you go, terrorism abound and scare the living daylight out of everyone. If what I’m saying means anything to you; if you really want to do what’s best for everybody in our country, support THE ANTI-TERRORISM LAW.

Our country is where we lived and when somebody disrupts it or interrupted our way of life, we will put fire to anybody. We must be united against the enemy. Our nation was more than home—it was Holy, and by protecting it against all sorts of terrorism meant protecting the ways of our culture. When they are taken, or destroyed we defend it until it is said there are no Filipinos.
