MY 22nd POST-- I’M HOPING PRES. MARCOS, JR WOULD HAVE A SENSE OF DÉJÀ VU WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FATHER.

Pres. Marcos, and his first Lady, have the same chemistry, connectivity and creativity. Both are always enjoying their tour around the world to flaunt their new identity to as many ears and eyes as they could reach. And while the first couple are jet sitting, our country, on the other hand, remain in decay and ruins due to Corruption. In hindsight, Mr. Marcos keeps dodging the bullet from resolving the widespread Corruption. He declared with implacability, he has nothing to do with it and “he will leave it as is” because it was insoluble. Truly, such conclusive pronouncement was inappropriately posited. It does not require a stretch of the imagination to conclude that it induces a condition of unrest, creates dissatisfaction with the conditions the citizens are in, or even stirs people to anger, move them to tears and sorrow, and inflict great pain. Moreover, such declaration has progressively escalated the frantic nature of the citizens’ safety and jeopardy which is reaching severity. With the said revelation, Mr. Marcos is digging his hole.

I don't see how any freedom-loving citizens of our country can look at Pres. Marcos and not instantly conclude that they don’t like what hurtful words Mr. Marcos had said. In fact, Pres. Marcos infringed his qualified immunity by violating clearly established statutory or constitutional rights of which a reasonable person would have known a right is clearly established; and that every reasonable official would have understood that what he is doing violates that right.  May I encourage Pres. Marcos to familiarize himself about the essence of his oath of office upon which he clearly broken; that he has the mandatory duty and obligation to protect and serve the country and its citizens, to provide security and welfare -- to make life easy, provided with good things of life. Pres. Marcos, being a quitter, he will not be able to bring the economy back on track with Corruption committed at will. Which is why, until now the people were still living in gloom and were gloomy due to unrestrained activity of Corruption committed by public officials because Mr. Marcos stoop to bow down to solving the same.

I can see the horror on the faces of the people. They looked distracted and they want to alert everyone what future the Filipinos is going to have. My mouth was kind of drawn and tight. By his words and action, I could tell that Pres. Marcos hasn’t considered the prevalence of Corruption in the government as something that should be taken seriously. With such unprofessional and heartless posture viz-a-vis Corruption, a fortiori, there's nothing stopping Mr. Marcos from doing more than that. His posture is indeed a slippery slope with no Safety Net.

I had little to do to process and gird everyone for what was ahead. In real time, the horror that played out in my mind and soul have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness, and unyielding anger across the board. But we had to resort to peaceful means through the power of the pen, and not through force, at least, as an opening stages of what will be a broad and concerted campaign to free the Filipino people against possible hardship or adversity due to widespread Corruption.

In this country of ours where a government via a President can destroy your life figuratively or even literally speaking for any reason at all, but we, Filipinos, ALWAYS not take it sitting down.  You can reference my point to what happened to former Pres. Marcos, Sr, the father of Pres. Marcos, Jr, in 1986. The nation had witnessed an act of EDSA REVOLUTION that ousted Pres. Marcos, Sr. I’M HOPING THAT PRES. MARCOS, JR WOULD HAVE A SENSE OF DÉJÀ VU WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FATHER.

MY 21ST POST-- THIS IS MY MESSAGE, THIS IS RIGHT FROM MY HEART, THIS IS MY DEEP-FELT POLITICAL BELIEF: SO LONG AS MR. MARCOS IS THE PRESIDENT, THE NATION WILL ALWAYS BE UNPRODUCTIVE DUE TO CORRUPTION.

In many ways, it is Corruption that is at the core of the Nation’s downfall or success, and at least, at the core of the views and the public opinion of foreign countries on the Filipinos. 99 percent of the Filipino citizens put the crime of Corruption in their top 5 priorities…and one in three say the issue of corrupt public officials is their number one concern. That’s because for us, the crime of corruption by public officials is a hurt we feel each day. Nearly 80 percent out of 110 million of our population are marginalized poor suffering from poverty. Look at the people sitting on either side of you. Imagine one was a marginalized poor, no food, no home, no job– forced to live on razor’s edge (kapit sa patalim). They are alive… but being alive is not the same as surviving.

We have to be concerned with Corruption, which is now widespread across the country because we’re living with its consequences. We don’t have the luxury of shifting our focus away. Otherwise, the more corrupt public officials gain leverage, they can exploit… and the greater the risk of instability we're going to encounter. That’s why we decry Pres. Marcos’s action in shifting away his focus from corruption. So, we, the Filipinos, must denounce the declaration of our Pres. Marcos for displaying blatant disregard to his Constitutional duties and obligations TO PROTECT AND SERVE THE COUNTRY AND ITS CITIZENS re: his revelation that he will just leave the issue of Corruption “just as it is,” which in tagalog, “Pabayaan nalang natin yan.” For this, his shameless persistence in a stern manner based on his ambiguous notion which he failed to elaborate further, is a gratuitous humiliation to himself and a testament to the true tone of his adamant stand to neglectfully solve corruption in government. This created a cloud of confusion and distrust upon him among the citizenry as to his capability, effectiveness, competence, and respectable presence as a President.

I respectfully challenge the logic and legitimacy of Mr. Marcos in declining to resolve the issue of Corruption. Moreso, the Filipinos strictly mean business and the President’s minute of fame were numbered and we have plenty of time to do it. It is worthy to stress, that any public official who displays such reckless neglect for Constitutional rights should have their authority questioned. Setting aside Pres. Marcos’s unprofessional remarks, much of his conduct could likely be considered unconstitutional. Indeed, Mr. Marcos demonstrated his ignorance of his rights and obligations as the President that would have a lasting effect that resonates throughout the entire country. In this case, Pres. Marcos’s conduct is unnecessary; likely illegal, and only served to create conflict. Pres. Marcos sealed his own fate via the Court of public opinion. Clearly, it is incomprehensible that Pres. Marcos, while acknowledging the proliferation of Corruption in the government but instead of obligating himself to resolve the same, he chose to ignore it.

Thus, the Filipinos are impatient when it comes to Corruption because time has not been a friend. Distraughtly though, the crime of Corruption in our government, which is our existential foe, seems like our leaders used to describe it as intractable, even insoluble. But for the many Filipinos, it is clear from the sequence of life that these Presidents that have gone and come, they are all indifferent to care about the issue of Corruption because they are also allegedly into Corruption.

THIS IS MY 20TH POST-- PRES. MARCOS IS WRONG, A LOT. WE HAVE NO PATH FORWARD AND CORRUPTION WILL BE THE CATALYST FOR THE NATION’S DOWNFALL.

With Pres. Marcos, Jr, walls are going up, not coming down. The decades have brought what feels like an endless parade of starts and stalemates … missed opportunities… shattered hopes… and diminishing returns. That illuminate the truths about our country’s situation and circumstances; this is now the quintessential examples of the effects of corruption that Pres. Marcos keeps evading to confront head-on. I JUST DON’T KNOW HOW HIS CRITICAL THINKING WORKS. YOU’LL BE THE JUDGE. The degradation is compounded by the sense that no one cares… that Pres. Marcos is oblivious to the hardships the Filipinos endure. And the worst threat of all is the cynicism so many people feel… the sense that Filipinos’ peace is hopeless… that we’ll never find a solution. If Pres. Marcos says we throw up our hands and say, “The problem of Corruption cannot be stopped,” we’re not just writing off a “process”… or writing off a “road map.” We’re writing off people’s lives.

The government treasury is always out of money that they’re now scrambling which source they will dive into to fund different important social services. It’s like tracing your finger on a Mobius Strip, going round in an infinite loop. What the government are now eyeing is the creation of the MAHARLIKA FUND using pensioners money and the money deposited in the Central Bank—JESUS-MARIA-E-JOSEPH, it feels like a blow to our very existence. You see, it’s not about how much money you earned; it’s about how much you can save and keep moving forward. Here’s the thing: Imagine our government has a container where all the country’s resources are stored in order to function effectively. No matter how many Billions the economy is pumping into the container that it took years to reach to save them, you can’t stop these Snakes being around on the very top of the food chain, and they bite off more than they can chew.

The President controls the doorway of the container, and he’s in charge of what he gives access to. But we are now living at a time when Corruption has the cultural significance in our country today. The corruptors/thieves have now taken up residence in the house. That means, they are connected to the supply line and they’re going to let it run dry. Fear, worry, doubt, insecurity that have ruled the space in our country are very strong because the thieves are all living in the house. Dragging us down, stealing our money, taking our peace. Your hatred has to go out to them as they actually sprinkled bad luck to the nation. That is the way it’s been, that’s the way it would continue, unless they will be stopped.

Mr. Marcos, Jr was given an honor and the responsibility by the 31 million Filipinos to be the President of our Philippine Republic. Then, the citizenry would now have a reasonable expectation the Pres. Marcos will do his duty and obligation as President. Clearly, Corruption is by any measure the biggest issue to be addressed by Pres. Marcos in our country. However, Mr. Marcos stated in that interview by Mr. Erwin Tulfo that and I quote “YUNG CORRUPTION, TALAGANG HINDI MATITIGIL YAN. DAHIL AS I KEEP REMINDING EVERYONE, CORRUPTION IS NOT A FILIPINO CONDITION, IT IS A HUMAN CONDITION.” This declaration by Pres. Marcos completely derailed his duties and obligations as President from the beginning. It’s kind of he just become the President of the Nation in order to pour salt into the wounds of the people. How many more damage our country will suffer due to the implicit bias of Pres. Marcos viz-a-vis corruption in his administration. Thus, he betrays both the trust of the public and the oath he has sworn to.

Now, the Filipinos are faced with an impossibly difficult and emotional traumatizing situation with Mr. Marcos. It demonstrates the lengths that he was willing to go in an effort to advance his own career at the expense of innocent citizens. Be careful who you have around as the President because a lot of people who you think you can trust, you can’t.

May I say to Mr. Marcos, if you're not able or you're not willing to live up to that honor and responsibility, get out of that position. I say to the good public officials in the entire administration, if you see a fellow official that's unwilling or unable to live up to that responsibility, don't tarnish your name by standing there doing nothing. You need to intervene; you need to say we are subject to the law and you may not violate the law by using your power to commit corruption; and you may not cover up a matter.

FOR PRES. MARCOS, JR, WE, THE FILIPINOS, NEED TO SEE SIGNS OF HOPE, WE NEED SUSTAINED COMMITMENT… CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT… AND LEADERSHIP… TO KEEP THE NATION ON THE PATH TO PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE. FOR NOW, YOU ARE A FAILURE. SAYANG LANG ANG 31 MILLION WHO VOTED FOR YOU. YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF MR. P R E S I D E N T.

THIS IS MY 19TH POST-- TOP-DOWN ASSESSMENT ON PRES. MARCOS, JR. AS THE PRESIDENT OF THE LAND

Although Mr. Marcos didn’t seem to care about corruption, we the citizenry should not allow his indifference to his oath of duty as the President of our country to dissuade us from exercising our rights to bring this issue to the public forum.

How many more damage to our country it would take for the people to realize that we have to unite and force the government to do drastic measure to stop the rising toll of corrupt public officials to continue their routine to ablaze the country with their trail of evil cons or will the good guys throw gas on their fire. God Bless the President, God Bless the Filipinos, God Bless the Philippines.

In hindsight, when Pres. Marcos, Jr. was interviewed one time by Mr. Erwin Tulfo what he will do about the corruption in the government, he answered: “Yung corruption, talagang hindi matitigil yan. Dahil as I keep reminding everyone, corruption is not a Filipino condition, it is a human condition.” This knockout statement without reasonable belief based on specific and articulable facts is a reckless disregard of his Oath of Office as President of this country. Hence, it is difficult to rationalize for its unproductive overreaction to do so, driven by his emotional responses rather than a desire to protect and serve the citizenry. Mr. Marcos also failed to consider the psychological implications of emotional distress, severe physical, mental, and emotional harm it would have to the Filipino people. This happenstance highlights a clear disconnect between the functionality and the implication associated with his position as President, and his interest in preserving the security, well-being, and logical practicality of his constituency. This shows two rough possessions in a row by Pres. Marcos, Jr.

Mr. Marcos’s reason why he believes Corruption cannot be stopped is clearly unreasonable because as President, his job is meant to be executed in service of the greater good of society. But sadly, the nature of his stance often created an environment conducive to abuse, and semantically justified wrongdoings. I’m almost certain that Pres. Marcos had been dealing with a mentally and likely physically taxing situation and he was under a lot of emotional stress for a litany of reasons that he was ignorant of the entire totality of the circumstances and the ramifications happening across the Nation as the result of Corruption.  Therefore, nothing that Pres. Marcos did was conducive to establishing an environment of trust and confidence with the citizenry and the entire world. By expanding on this analysis, Pres. Marcos, by maintaining his unprofessional and dispassionate attitude about his stance not to do anything about Corruption, this solidifies the notion he has obviously violated his oath of Office as President of the Philippines.

Indeed, Pres. Marcos, Jr in exercising poor discretion by choosing to ignore corruption rather than solving it, has violated several policy standards under the Constitution, and for demonstrating poor character and an overall questionable ethical aptitude. There’s no doubt that his decision to put the issue of corruption on the side line was a serious ethical question where a President in performing his mandated task must see to it that he is making the most reasonable and ethical decision possible within the bounds of his authority as President. He is required to perform his oath of office with honor under the Constitution. His oath of Office explicitly promotes accountability in maintaining high ethical standards, and that Presidents who neglect to consider the ethicality of their decisions are essentially betraying their oath.

For Pres. Marcos, in failing to fulfill his job description, he demonstrated a behavior that trivialized the social impact and diminished his relationship with his constituents and the entire world. I urged my fellow countrymen to bring his misconduct in allowing Corruption “to proliferate forever” be questioned in the proper forum. Corruption has now become a tradition and culture in our country, in the sense, that as public officials, it is natural for them to claim the privilege to corrupt without regard to the tears and sufferings to most of the citizens. The Filipinos are now among the scrub at the lowest level to the standard of living in the world. Our dreams in life were somewhere way off in the distance.

When you get into these bad signs, when more than one thing goes wrong at the same time, it can be kind of like a perfect storm that can be ominous. You cannot throw caution to the wind. Are we going to wait to hit rock bottom so we can get back up?

THIS IS MY 18TH POST-- WE ARE NOW FLOATING IN SHARK-INFESTED WATERS, OR GOING ABOUT INTO THE JAWS OF A LION AS PRES. MARCOS, JR. WATCHED INTENTLY.

There is no doubt that the lives of the Filipinos are eviscerated because of the corrupt system in the government. President Marcos, Jr. didn’t want to do anything about it because for him, “talagang hindi matitigil yan; it is a human condition.” This was the statement that pulled the bottom out of his world and made him regret his choices; the phrase is the caprice that seemed cruelly inappropriate for a President, kind of leaving the Filipinos floating in shark-infested waters to be eaten or going about into the jaws of a lion.

Pres, Marcos, Jr. failed to consider, that when you decide to confront the problem, it can lead to so many good things to happen. But sadly, he chose to cringed and shrank against the wall with an involuntary gasp from solving Corruption. This is a testament to his terrible exercise of his duties and obligation as President of the Philippines, and this type of conduct only serves to erode the public confidence on him. What he was talking about, that tells every Filipino that’s not just smoke, there’s some fire, then, that might be elevated to the point where Pres. Marcos, Jr. is willing to give up his people, making their lives a living hell. He is driving us down the trail of tears back to an emptier and lonelier house. That’s the bottom line.

If that’s the case, how would that be our country’s interest is difficult to fathom. How would pushing everyone to the grave making our country great again? The law of unintended consequences is surely in play. Being the President, Marcos, Jr. must emit a piercing whistle that gathers a head of steam too high and have the government on a string, and more importantly in his vision to get rid of Corruption. Corruption is in fact a fight in which there shouldn’t be any losers. But if Pres. Marcos Jr, chooses to back down from the challenge like a frightened rabbit, it will certainly end with no winners.

We must pressure Pres. Marcos, Jr. It’s like, “He who cannot obey himself will be commanded”. Therefore, let’s take him to deep waters to put his alleged vocation to give the Filipinos a better life to the test. Corruption, like a plague, has brought our country to economic doldrums and poverty. That was in a way hard to watch but in a way, you couldn’t look away. You know we are in a fight and we aren’t about to give any chances to be defeated, but to overcome what’s trying to stop you.

Pres. Marcos, Jr. should have known better that among the things that you think would preclude success to a country, nothing beats corruption that is wide ranging and uncontrollable, like the Philippines. His approach in refusing to solve corruption because “It was not a Filipino condition, but a Human condition”, trampled his duties and obligation as President to compile a pathetic excuse without reasonable basis. Truly, Pres. Marcos, Jr. preposterously worked this hard to neglect common sense by not doing anything about the problem of corruption in the country for which he is the President regardless of the illegality or immoral connotation associated with the inaccuracy of his action and decision.

THIS IS THE 17TH POST INTENDED TO AWAKEN PRES. MARCOS, JR. THAT PUTTING IN THE REARVIEW MIRROW THE SERIOUS ISSUE OF CORRUPTION, IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I’m not about to sit here and give you a whole spiel, but the Filipinos are waiting for some content, some cold hard content why corruption is still very much alive and bursting with a flash from an old-fashion approach into a modern-day world type scheme to commit it. One of the disturbing aspects of the matter is that, instead of moving forward to positive trajectory towards getting rid of corruption, Pres. Marcos, Jr., curiously enough, had the crime of corruption very much in his rearview mirror and he just couldn’t place his finger on it. Strangely, such errant ways of going astray, shirking away from responsibility by Pres. Marcos, Jr., the corruptors are committing corruption in a free-wheeling and loose spirit, in form or manner; breaking all the norms with undeniable dominance. For now, the corruptors are manhandling the nation’s native state into a dog pile on the rabbit. They are the boss in the field.

Heretofore, you all have been paranoid or full of anxiety because the government keeps dragging out the spectacle instead of sparking corruption out quickly. Feeling abandoned, disappointed and on the verge of defeat, it was time to awaken Pres. Marcos, Jr. to fight back. Enough with the survival mode. It was time to map out a worthy plan to deal with this serious issue of corruption; and that the corruptors be prosecuted as they keep stealing from the coffers of the government in king-sized portions simply for the love of money. The fact of the matter is, the Filipinos are just fed up with corruption happening anywhere in every department and agency of the government across the country outdoing one another. That’s why, the latest evolution about corruption that these public officials began for decades, we want them over and culminated now; write it off full stop.

Some people learned already how to defend against corruption through social inference and by association with living examples from the life we live that teaches us the lessons. Pres. Marcos, Jr. must welcome different ideas, and value everyone’s own contribution by showing them appreciation and respect, and then, solidify which one is really effective in battling Corruption, instead of a laid-back look. That’s just how the world works. Great ideas are adopted, built upon and improve. That’s how technology, that’s how art and science and everything in life progresses. That is at its core where innovation of any sort begins.

The only important thing is that Pres. Marcos, Jr. must realize that corruption is the root cause of all the evils that’s happening in our country; in the sense that no matter what he does, it will not result to the nation’s economic growth, unless corruption is resolved.
