MY PRICELESS MEMENTO

For those who greeted me on my Birthday yesterday, September 30, 2019, I’m humbled and It’s like no matter how often I feel like I’m drowning, you’re there to help bring me back to the surface for air. I reverently show my attitude of humility, of adoration, of perceiving my smallness compared to the one possessed with the majestic glory that all of you who greeted me possess.

All of you are always an integral part of me and I always remember vividly in my mind it’s the way we used to be many, many, many years ago when we were younger, when times were simple and values were honest, and every time we see each other, the welcome came straight from the heart; and that our connection is such that we were never out of calling distance and nothing is ever taken for granted.

We have a different moment in time now, but the context of each of us whom we had fun together, and admired and respected are still the same. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

THE “NINJA COPS"

The Philippines is shattered by deceit and greed as it is faced with the surged of political crisis primarily on drugs and corruption, among many others, in equal category. As of now, it doesn’t seem life can get much sweeter for the Filipino people. I felt that no matter how the best President that we have, PRRD, who never is out of calling distance, constantly juggle the books to stay our country afloat, still it was resulting in really becoming worse. I felt like PRRD was in this narrow tunnel and every problem was getting further and further and further away from the solution. In fact, it now came out that the police authorities whom PRRD was solely depending to eradicate drugs and corruption are now the very people keeping them alive.

The “Ninja Cops” were just constantly the Grim Reaper pulling down the country with drugs and corruption while PRRD is pulling up and saving it.

I could see devastation and destruction everywhere, every government agency is corrupt, most people are suffering from moral decay, nothing was in place, and nobody is doing what he or she should be doing to make our country prosper. It just did not seem real. I keep thinking I’m gonna wake up and this is just really a bad dream.

I’m not perfect, I’m not holy, I’m not some saint. I’m just an everyday person and it’s amazing to me that God would choose to touch my life in such a dramatic way, to choose to speak to me. When all the details came to light, it was not only remarkable, it was a miracle.

THE PARADIGM OF VIRTUOSITY BUT ACTUALLY THEY ARE IN A MOST CLASSIC SENSE A BANDIT

What we’re seeing a lot in our country is that the elected and appointed public officials with trademark they are all corrupt. With their stunning spree, these corrupt public officials rise to infamy and destined to make history’s record books as the cunning adversary like they’ve never seen before. Their interest is grabbing every opportunity where they can make money out of it no matter who gets in the way.

How our country as a society get into this situation in the first place? With all this mess, what am I doing to help my country? All I could hear was one tiny horrible world go. I hope my crusade will shed light on a crisis that is spiraling out of control due to corruption. Living conditions are at par with Botswana Africa, a third-world country. The disparity between the poor neighborhood and the life of the rich in the Philippines is a national disgrace.

The country that is synonymous with poverty, crime, and homelessness. People can’t just afford to live in a house worthy to call it home. Homelessness in the streets is pretty staggering in terms of magnitude, in terms of how long-running it is. It is a chronic shortage of livable housing forcing thousands onto the streets. In order to survive, some try to beat the odds with violence. A ruthless band of vicious thugs strikes on everybody they can victimize through drugs, thievery, murder for hire, leaving a bloody trail awake all around us.

Because you’ve seen so many of these, it becomes routine and you don’t pay attention anymore. That’s the ultimate fear that you go right into living the consequences of the situation. Thus, everybody was scared to walk the streets at daytime and nighttime. The people around the country must demand for action from the authorities to stop what has been happening here. The people all over want an answer for this.

This is how a corrupt country like the Philippines is tainted with thousands of resultant consequences of corruption. Money was tight and everyone has trouble making ends meet with an overwhelming feeling of what have I gotten into and how am I gonna get out of this. Everyone has a feeling of I’m alone and nobody is gonna help.

PRRD FELT DRAINED, EXHAUSTED, AND WORN OUT OVER CORRUPTION

The government started campaigning on finding a solution. I had the solution and I pleaded to have a sit down with the President about lowering corruption if not stopping it all throughout. Unfortunately, I cannot get the attention of the President.

The question rather for the government is when bad things happened, and corruption is certainly even worse, what are you willing to learn from it. What are you willing to acknowledge and do better to improve to decrease the likelihood that it will ever happen again? We need to reduce corruption; we need the numbers to go down faster than they are. In the meantime, what the government could manage to do is it was stuck undoing the damage one at a time. This has never worked.

Before the authorities could catch the corruptors, they would commit more cases of corruption to their list, and they were determined to avoid capture at any cost. Beneath the busy government buildings are the mecca for organized sophisticated corruption activities. As soon as the bright lights and the air-conditioning units are a startup, there are thousands of workers keeping the government offices running.

These public officials are already infamous to have engaged in committing corruption built on the back of dirty deals, and easy money that shattered any remaining trust from the community. The entire country is pretty much falling apart. The corrupt public officials with Saintly façade are ready to take whatever they can. The more they get, the more they want. The more they have, the more they want to have. Their greed to corrupt is beyond the pale who hid behind the shattered shield. Are we going to wait to hit rock bottom so we can get back up?

How many more damage to our country it would take for the people to realize that we have to unite and force the government to do drastic measure to stop the rising toll of corruptors to continue their routine to ablaze the country with their trail of evil cons or will the good guys throw gas on their fire. God Bless the President, God Bless the Filipinos, God Bless the Philippines.

MY LETTER TO THE PUBLIC OFFICIALS WHO CORRUPT

I know, as you lay and hit your pillow to sleep, there are things you can’t avoid thinking because they are things you’re not meant to forget. You always knew someday you’d get caught. Only a fool thinks otherwise. The law sometimes sleeps, but the law never dies. You will be caught sooner than later.

With the corruption that permeates every agency in the government in astronomical proportion, I was compelled to write and make a statement, which I found necessary just this corruption could be over very quickly. You are born in this country, you are raised in this country, you raised your children in this country, and therefore, you owe this country a million times more than you can ever repay it. God gave you a spouse, God gave you a family. Please be a father or a mother that your family can respect and be proud of. Please do not do something that would ever jeopardize what God has given you.

You are among the public officials that corrupt and you are living the high life while the Filipino people are starving. You are the kind of evil where there is no feeling. In the Philippines, because of corruption, there is just emptiness. The 80%Filipinos are starving, howling out there but all mean nothing to you.

In my analysis, you’re born in circumstances that would make even Jesus blush. With your power, money, and politics, your career is mixed into a deadly cocktail. The price of your greed is your son and your daughters, and what are you going to do if there’s blood in the water.

THE PHILIPPINES LOOMS LARGE WHEN YOU TALK OF CORRUPTION

Our system of government only breeds corruptors that demonstrate a lack of any kind of moral restraint. They are used to the dramatic and terrible act and not being able to feel about what they are doing. So, there’s nothing in the system that will prevent the corruptors from their corrupt practices because the system is a chain of corruption. Regardless of what agency of the government they are in, I can assure you, there’s always that hankering to corrupt and steal.

You know, it’s never the best career move to corrupt, but you will be ostracized if you will not get along. It comes from the disorder of things where most of our government officials didn’t work to serve the people but rather as a way to become wealthy through corruption. This means if you join the government, your cards were marked from that point on as a corrupt official. You work like a machine, which is run with very specific guidelines that there is no other way of working out to get along with everybody except that everyone must give the respect of adhering the well-established underworld lines which they all live by--the code of silence; that corruption is normal and the way of life in the government. You have to set your hands dirty and live a life in the wrong side of the law. Those kinds of things leave an indelible mark and will never be erased from the individual psyche.

If you work in an environment where corruption is the currency, you’ll gradually be pulled into that kind of a whole culture and be inculcated into an underworld system. Truly, joining the government was a criminal training ground as your whole time will expose you to some of the notorious corrupt officials and their contacts, and your progression as corrupt continued. It becomes extremely difficult to escape that kind of world view. You had to work within those guidelines or you didn’t work at all. This is a very strong, very significant message if you join the government. With these kinds of government officials, they thrive in victimizing the government through double cross and subterfuge.

These public officials are over the top, full of juice, and they use their money fueled on corruption to save them, and they are vicious. They had no scruples. Those who are new in the government had to absorb the corrupt imagery they had seen in their surroundings.

Now, the employment with the government became the poisonous, toxic environment and the already grim existence has now gotten a lot worse. The blatant and fearless sprees of corrupt practices are now beyond the pale and can be viewed as loose cannon in a perverse sort of way that threatened the order the government has worked so hard to establish.

THE WARNING BELLS ARE RINGING IN THE PHILIPPINES

The corruption in the Bureau of Correction (Bucor) should be the last straw that breaks the camel’s back. It has to be so because if we’re just keeping it a whole stack, this must be the mother of all corruption because it is the hardened criminals sentenced guilty of different crimes, some of them heinous crimes, that are being freed through corruption. We’re waiting for the worse to come and now it appears that it has.

The warning bells are now ringing in our country. Corruption is now pandemic as government officials pulled a Judas on the sovereign Filipinos by doing nothing but to corrupt. Corruption is tearing our government apart by the government officials themselves whom we thought were our angels but were actually demons.

The condition in the Philippines has now been one where there is destruction and chaos wherever we go; people are more likely to do desperate things; horrific things happen and all sides commit horrific crimes because of these horrific conditions; impede development; and more importantly, everywhere we have displaced, destitute Filipinos that the government cannot take care all of them. It seems like it’s kind of flipping upside down around us as every hour we’re seeing something more of corruption being committed.

There is no other better way to solve corruption than for the person who offers the bribe and/or the person who accepts the bribe will suspect each other that one of them might report to the authorities and get the package deal reward. This was the kind of solution that I proposed to the Senate for its consideration which I sent on August 8, 2019, to PRRD and the 13 Senators SP Sotto, Angara, Villar, Marcos, Cayetano, Gordon, Pacquiao, Zubiri, Lacson, Pimentel, Bato Dela Rosa, Tolentino, and Bong Go.

But to date, nothing has been heard of about my proposal. FRANKLY, I DON’T KNOW WHY? Would I and all the Filipinos who are living with the consequences of corruption consider my proposal to solve corruption already declared as dead in the water?
