AMERICA IS ON ITS KNEES FROM THE PANDEMIC AND THE UGLINESS OF RACISM

What happened in Minneapolis, USA, wherein George Floyd, 46, and the officer now charged with his death, Derek Chauvin, 44, by sinking his knee to the former’s throat, which now created the famous outrageous political rhetoric: “I can’t breathe.”

This incident where a US police used excessive force to a black American and the people of color responded aggressively like the hornets whose nest has been violated. The black people swarm the streets in a coordinated outrage protest that escalated to looting and burning the cities down. Let me say these words: when can they ever learn their history lesson?

The foregoing is a vivid illustration that will keep you reminded of how you may be able to move forward and be a step ahead according to the code we live by. When one of us is threatened, we are all at risk because we are all involved in this journey called life. So, let’s keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another. It is because each of us is a vital thread in another person’s tapestry.

THERE HAS NEVER EVER BEEN ANY GOOD WITH THE ABS-CBN

The issue on the Abs-Cbn franchise has been burning for months and the heat ripples like a giant inferno spreading a dark cloud of smoke across the nation. With every passing second, the Congressional hearing is difficult to watch yet impossible to ignore. Now crucial testimony bearing witness to an ugly reality at what Abs-Cbn represents, how it deprived the people of their precious breathe, their scream and cry spilling onto everyone’s dream igniting calls for help and social justice.

I have had many looks of hate to other people in my long life but never once it had been so vicious, so vengeful like my hatred towards these top brasses of the Abs-Cbn. Their mockery with the law, sowing disorder in the service of the opposition, and their greed for money has been intolerable that spiraled out of control.

There is no more disgraceful page in history than that which concerns the treachery of the Abs-Cbn that visited upon the nation and its citizens. While the government has given them what they wished for, in return they violated every term of their franchise on a whim, then, subjecting the nation to their destructive madness.

A lot of Filipinos were very justifiably of the opinion that the Abs-Cbn was a large part of the reason our economy turned upside down as the result of what they did to the country.

How much more will they steal if their broadcasting business will not be stopped? Frankly, there has never ever been any good with the Abs-Cbn. They always dream their dreams to ruin the lives of the Filipinos. It is because of their continued hateful nature towards PRRD that they publicly humiliated him through a manipulative, devious type of story that causes brothers to stand against brothers.

ONLY FOOLS RUSH IN

PRRD speaks with a wise tongue when he declared there is no opening of classes in August if there’s no vaccine. What words are there to speak against his? Only a fool is trying to fight against the odds that are standing up against you. Man’s got a right to defend what’s his but doesn’t give him the right to commit suicide.

Covid-19 is a natural disaster and Duterte as the President had the responsibility of preserving the people’s safety and well-being.

Sometimes the forest can be deceptively peaceful but offering only an illusion of safety. Of course PRRD knows better. We’d be wise to be a foot ahead than to be someone who is foolhardy, who is reckless and rush, someone who would even bring his own end/demise.

If ever We must be carried away by our panic conscience, it must be along a path that only fate could choose for, a path to safety.

A JOB THAT YOU KNOW HAS TO BE DONE

There are some things that are better said than written. PRRD has once more thrust his sword exactly where it was needed.

If you can recall, there are thousands of OFWs who have been tested negative of Covid-19 but are still in hotels in Manila for almost 2months now. They were not allowed to go home to their respective places because the DOH failed to encode the test results. Such is enough to raise an eyebrow. Thus, the OFWs concerned cannot be issued a clearance certificate to travel.

The DOH willy-nilly attitude ripples like a giant shock wave spreading a dark cloud of the OFW’s dream to be with their families that shattered their hearts and soul.

But just this dawn, PRRD through Sec. Harry Roque, verbally ordered all line agencies to the effect that the subject OFWs be allowed to go home without delay. This is the defining moment of wonder and excitement that PRRD’s order has swept through the OFWs like the barker’s voice pitched high above the noise that promised a cure for everything from a flea bite to catastrophic consumption. Now, the OFWs can truly dry their tears.

The order of PRRD is as clear as spring water that the government line agencies must start to come out of the woodwork to enforce it without delay. I just hope that the order of PRRD, more than fear, will grip the officials’ precious throat.

THERE’S A BLACK CLOUD COMING TO COVER UP THE ABS-CBN

We will continue to peel back the onion on this incredible story, yes, the biggest Abs-Cbn TV Broadcasting scandal of our time.

The news report of GMA7 last night, May 19, 2020, got enough twists to choke a horse. Words have turned too many shadows. I want no more words from the GMA7 newscaster. She has to hold her tongue, every time she opens her mouth, all lies come out.

The Abs-Cbn entire force from the head down to a mere reporter brought them to their deep, dark, and twisted fate. The sun steers their course who can stop it? The karma of their sins is as the course of the sun. It will fulfill the law of revenge.

In Atty. Gadon’s Youtube, the metes and bounds of the SC order is that it denies the TRO sought for by Abs-Cbn against the NTC’s cease and desist order. The voting was 14-0. The denial of the TRO carries with it an order making both the Senate and Congress as necessary parties because the Abs-Cbn seeks from the two Houses the issuance of provisional authority to operate. The effect of the order would be that the Senate and the House of Representatives would now conduct respectively a full-blown hearing on the franchise issue of the Abs-Cbn.

With the foregoing facts and circumstances, the quest for a provisional authority of Abs-Cbn to operate succumb to death.

CAYETANO’S BILL 6732 IS BACK TO SQUARE ONE

In retrospect, last Wednesday, May 13, 2020, a bill No. 6732, was sponsored by Speaker Alan Cayetano and it was simultaneously approved in first and second reading right there and then like magic. Such move displayed neither wisdom nor wit, but rather a defiance of the rule. Under Article 6, section 26, para 2, of the Constitution, No bill passed by either House shall become a law unless it has passed three readings on separate days, xxx xxx xxx.

In yesterday’s session, May 18, 2020, Congress realized they committed a blunder that they withdrew their approval to the Bill No. 6732. Their checkmate play of railroading the approval of the provisional franchise of Abs-Cbn is a tangled braid that must be unbound thru one swoop of the sword.

I think the difficult thing for people to grapple with emotionally about Speaker Cayetano is how could he be so bias and partial to Abs-Cbn? Alan Cayetano’s rendition of his duty was unimaginable and even if it involves using syntax and all of the knowledge in the inside that humanity had in order to understand it, it would always remain incomprehensible.

IF I WERE TO CAST A BIT OF LIGHT AS A GOAL TO PURSUE OR A FATE TO DODGE

Speaker of the House of Congress Alan Peter Cayetano has spearheaded a Bill granting Abs-Cbn provisional franchise up to October 2020. If this happens, it would be a whole host of maladies that continue to whistle-past-the- graveyard. So, I’m rubbing my hands together like Birdman. These are the moments, these are the stories right here.

The Abs-Cbn is being portrayed by their talents and fidus Achates as the paradigm of virtuosity but in a most classic sense a bandit. It was an image they couldn’t shake.

The truth is Gabby Lopez is even allegedly an American citizen. Since 1995, the Abs-Cbn has been a monument built on the back of dirty deals, easy money, pleasure and allure done out of sight and in the shadows. Ask Jay Sonza about it.

But the one bizarre and cringe-worthy situation is that the Abs-Cbn has been part of the plot to depose PRRD. They looked for any chance to throw a shot at PRRD pushing the limits to what they can get away with. This is a piece of public knowledge and anybody among the politicians cannot feign ignorance about it.

If the Abs-Cbn will not be stopped and thrown out of broadcasting, we will always have the specter of our Nation’s collapse hovering over our heads while the country and its citizens are paying the price. This has to end and their luck has to end.

THE MASTERMIND IN STOPPING ABS-CBN FRANCHISE RENEWAL

Let’s not color outside the line here with a statement using sympathy and emotion that Coco Martin sought to paint the government as unforgiving. Coco Martin is giving the devil a foothold to the point he gets way too cocky and continues to showboat. Coco Martin cannot feign ignorance the Abs-Cbn is a fraud that has amassed a mountainous violation of its franchise that can easily rock anyone’s stomach. In fact, the Abs-Cbn couldn’t stand the shame of what had been found out.

Mr. Martin was just mouthing an empty cliché’ and stayed so tunnel vision at what he had scoffed as a smokescreen to shift the blame on PRRD.

The time machine revealed that it started in the 16th Congress of 2014 that the franchise renewal started to be filed. The application was stalled due to the opposition of the Cable Operators Association. Worst, Pnoy Aquino allegedly advice Speaker Belmonte of the 16th Congress not to act on the franchise renewal. Apparently, Pnoy got increasingly frustrated about the Abs-Cbn’s negative news format making him a villain in the impeachment case of the late Justice Corona; and the Mamasapano massacre.

After six (6) years of gathering dust, the franchise expired. SC decision in the past is clear. Only Congress can grant a franchise. The NTC cannot extend an expired franchise and cannot issue a provisional authority to operate. When Congress convenes and if Congress grants a franchise, then the franchisee can operate again. But not until that happens, the Abs-Cbn’s fall from grace is now complete.

THE ABS-CBN SUBJECTED THE NATION TO THEIR DESTRUCTIVE MADNESS

We refuse to be hectored by Abs-Cbn's vigorous assertion that their closure was a way to undermine freedom of speech and the public right to information. Such a claim belongs to the realm of fantasy than the narration of the truth for it was only anchored on mere supposition and misleading accusations.

The truth is Abs-Cbn had to be shut down because they committed various infractions of the law that is demolition of all our sense of rationality. If we consider it in the whole stack, way back in 2014 yet under the Pnoy regime, the Abs-Cbn already filed a renewal of its franchise. But the 16th Congress refused to act on it. It is because instead of maintaining its company as Abs-Cbn Channel, it changes its company as Abs-Cbn Channels. They added a letter “S”. Thus, the Cable TV Association objected to the application as not for renewal but a new application for a new franchise.

It appears that the Abs-Cbn had intentionally changed the word “Channel” into “Channels” with “S” to justify its various illegal operations, which among others, is TV plus without a license. The Abs-Cbn made approximately a whopping amount of more than 2 trillion pesos at Php 1,500 peso for each of the 9million subscribers for its illegal operations. They also made money from pay per view. The Abs-Cbn is supposed to be a FREE TV and not a PAY TV.

ABS-CBN GOES TO THE CANVAS INTO PROVERBIAL HEAP

When it’s your day for you to have the karma, it’s really your day. And I expect to see a lot more embarrassed big men in the Abs-Cbn turn and walk down the other end of the aisle with their heads down in shame. They probably are swelling their pants at the prospect of spending hundreds of millions of pesos for the fight of their lives going to the courts to redeem their lost glory. It’s a shot in the gut that you didn’t expect.

The Philippines' telecoms body on Tuesday dropped the Coup de grace on the country's leading broadcaster Abs-Cbn, which suddenly looks very mortal after all, to cease operations immediately, saying its license had expired.

This is a very good line for everyone that if you’re spending more time tormenting somebody in a way that it’s becoming irrational, that is stupidity. And if you think you can get away with it, you get things wrong. Try to think of it that even if you are chopping wood into pieces for firewood with an ax, the wood sometimes retaliates and hits you in the face.

The Abs-Cbn forgot that Nature spares to nothing and even the toughest can crack. It wasn’t all flowers and sunshine for the Abs-Cbn because not everything it does is surefire; and as it is said, if something is going to get worse it will. The Abs-Cbn is now being constricted to death in the process with the cease and desist order against it.

Indeed, greed and its addiction to money had led Abs-Cbn’s choice to do the wrong thing that put the set of wheels in motion down a difficult path for them. Now, even the gods seem to have abandoned them.

Just keep this rule in mind, don’t do what you do not want others to do upon to you.
