US Sen. Bob Menendez called to “redouble efforts” to free De Lima. De Lima, a Philippine Senator has been detained since February 2017 as she faced drug charges over the illicit trade at the national penitentiary during her time as Secretary of Justice.
The US Senator was just fed with screwed up facts and twisted information about De Lima to keep him from seeing the truth. He was very condescending in his call, trying to undercut the legitimacy of the crimes De Lima is facing in the Philippine judicial system. Demanding the release of De Lima with a pumped-up ego is soul-crushing like I’m from the United States of America, and we can dictate on you.
The truth about Sen. Leila De Lima is that during the time she was the Secretary of Justice, things got very cringe-worthy very quickly and she emerged as the woman whose silhouette has become the symbol for the entire brand of corruption, immorality, drugs and nasty things on many levels.
So, the issue is about how Americans have been demonizing other countries in terms of human rights and other things when they have so many issues in their backyard to talk about. So, the American Senator’s maltreatment and oppression on the Philippines undermining their generations-old habit and reputation that they have in the international scene to talk about human rights, not just how they treat the black people but also how they go around bombing and torturing another in other countries, including the Philippines in the Balangiga massacre in 1901.
Look you Americans, are you not committing human rights violations? You hypocrite, first remove the beam out of your eye and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye. This means America needs to take care of its own shit before they go around poking fingers and pointing fingers at other countries.
The UN, the people in the US are saying something ad hominem at PRRD (Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte). Well, you are seeing a US Senator tried to come in on his moral high horse to tell PRRD’s government about what he’s doing in his own country. Yeah, put the said US Senator in his right place. I can barely hear the irony alarm is so loud in the background. I should be the one to tell you exactly what you have done to the Filipinos in our country.
You have lost your position as a moral authority in your own country, America because all the killings you do into the black men and black women. So, you can’t go to nobody else’s country and tell us what we should and should not be doing. You did that mess to yourself. You can’t be talking no more.
