THE BUREAU OF CUSTOMS MUST BE REHABILITATED

I had to say that, not from a spirit of bravado but it is our desire to disappear from this earth under a cloud of glory rather than that of shame. It is the task of everyone when you see that the end of your days come, to leave a tradition of bravery, determination to face even death for your principles, and I thought about PRRD. It was not because he was brave but because he had a duty to perform at this point, which is to put a broken country back together.

Let me first say these meager words for PDU30 that when he ordered the rehabilitation of Boracay for six (6) months, critics and bashers reacted with diatribe and the gushing of lies. But his appropriate response for horrible language and horrible ideas was a better idea, and so, he insisted. Now that Boracay has turned from dirt into gold, those who were prattling and tattling that only harsh their throat, had to limp to shore as they bow their heads and shrink with embarrassment.

This means that for PDU30, where many kept a meek silence for fear of retaliation, and still others feigned and fawned in hopes of safety and even reward, PRRD chose to fight. He was not afraid. Money did not tempt him. Threats did not daunt him. Power did not awe him. His was a singular and all exacting obsession: the return of peace and progress to his country.

My point finally, is that in a very real sense PDUD30’s move in Boracay made that dawn draw nearer for our country. This time, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) suddenly pop up and it could be a divine intervention as may be more significant than that is being held out to the public because it does show a very odd kind of thing going on.

The entire force in the BOC is the assassins that have the power of life and death of over millions of people as Tons of Drugs worth billions are being allowed to pass through at will and with impunity. They are a bunch of leeches; you’re talking about people who have the propensity of providing our country with a crapload of trouble. Their habits, the obsessions, the whims of these men, they are capable of slaughtering the entire population to their destructive madness.

We must continue towards a path whose predictable conclusion is more beneficial and productive like the path PDU30 has chosen for Boracay, which is REHABILITATION. Therefore, the BOC must be the next after Boracay. BOC is more violent, more terror, and the very real threat to our country like a nuclear breakout.
