NOBODY IS INDISPENSABLE IN THE GOVERNMENT

I was still six (6) years old in 1957 and I already knew how contemptuous the reputation the said agency has been. The BOC was already incorrigibly corrupt even at the time when corruption was not yet endemic and systemic in our society. It’s just hard to believe that something this vast could have continued for this long without each one of them knowing about it, it just doesn’t make any sense. This is a scandal and the truth has a way of emerging from the insiders themselves. The BOC people are thieves and anyone who helped covering up is just as guilty as the other, that his silence was complicity.

The BOC is generating 4billion daily income despite the prevalence of corruption. If there was no corruption, the daily income would easily reach 12 billion daily. This can really rocket engine our economy. That should be an enormous elixir to economic growth. The Filipinos would not have been struggling to keep their heads above water.

Consider this; the specter of the bulk of money in the BOC is the reason war looms over the country. That’s why for the government, this is a matter of National Security because it can finance the ouster of PDU30 just like Col Billy Bebet of the Ram during Cory’s regime. We all know there are a series of contingencies and huge dangerous forces that constantly placed our country under tremendous strain and threat. We cannot discount the possibility that the BOC officials have been financing already the destabilizers. I’d say this it’s going to be incredibly difficult for any of us to try and guess what is going to happen. We are in a real period of unknown contingent possibilities. Thus, if we have to transform the BOC, the entire force has to be chopped off and no one should be exempted from it.

Mr. President, you cannot block your ears to these customs officials who have never done honest day’s work but want everything for nothing. Enough is enough.

In the fungi kingdom, the members that include mushrooms, yeasts, and molds, come in a startling array of forms but none can hold a candle to the utterly bizarre Clathrus archeri also known as the devil’s fingers for which the entire force of the BOC can be likened to. So that, no amount of constant guard even by a battalion of soldiers in cordon sanitaire can make these thieves concede the few inches of the ground. Therefore, this idea could throw the government into a never-ending spiral of unwinnable wars. It’s the same old hat, It is a back and forth affair. Remember this: “When you dance with the devil, the devil doesn't change. The devil changes you.”

You know what, sometimes I wish I was a bird so I could fly over the BOC people and shit on their heads.
