The biggest mirror of our society at its best, is pathetic, at its worse, it’s
brutal. These corruptors are brutal people in terms of how and what they like
to corrupt. Man against man, me against you. One guy is gonna beat the other
guy and these corrupt public officials like to see blood. They kind of relish
for having more money while the people are starving to death. It’s barbaric but
the corruptors love that and still, it’s the epitome of excitement.
We’re
not gonna be playing deaf and blind to the issue of corruption done to the
Filipinos that could last forever if ever. The public officials who corrupt
obviously, don’t care that the Filipinos suffered upon a matter literally
dealing with life and death while they all keep laughing all the way to the
bank.
To the
angry passions kindled by the evil effects of corruption, we attribute the
migration of many Filipinos to various foreign countries as OFW’s including
doctors, engineers, skilled workers, domestic helpers, nurses, etcetera,
draining our country with human resources. Also, in a great degree, we refer
the persistent flow of drugs, the proliferation of hired killers, and even the
issue of the West Philippine Sea is attributed to corruption perpetrated by the
previous administration of Benigno Pnoy Aquino.
The
corruptors live the ultimate life of leisure while the marginalized poor are
struggling with outrageous levels of hand to mouth existence and just go in the
way of a dog-eat-dog world. The country is definitely under the yoke of this
bunch of corrupt public officials as they just pretty much snatch our lives
away and dreams of glory in our hearts. I don’t think any of us as human beings
could stomach all of that and get over it.
