PART ONE - PRRD, IF I MAY BE ALLOWED TO GIVE MY TWO CENTS WORTH

PRRD, SIR, if you just listen to your supporters like me, it’s amazing what they’ll let you say back; and if you don’t listen to them, it’s amazing they cannot tell you it’s dark outside. 

It cannot be denied that our government is still struggling with how it can calm the situation down and maintain stability in our country. My brothers and sisters, we still have a serious problem at hand, and this calls for aggressive, but cautious measures.

Every problem is like a big door that to open needs only a small key. My observation could be the solution we have been looking for like a screw thread nut fitted into a bolt. PRRD, the root cause of all the problems we are having are the words INORDINATE DELAY. There is always an inordinate delay for any official transaction in any government agencies because the process is circuitous, there are many requirements needed to be attached, and the inactions therefrom, be it in securing clearances, securing birth certificates, securing passports, securing permits, securing decisions, responding a call for police assistance or emergencies, implementing arrest orders, and/or practically all what every citizen wants, there is always an inordinate delay.

Because of the delay, which is inordinate, people would resort to grease money to speed up things and the same suddenly lights up everything around it. But those without money to give, their intention to make things legal is replaced by frustration and forced them to turn illegal. It is like saying: I’m trying to do everything legally but you are making it hard for me, so maybe, you want me to do it illegally.

THE IDEA LIKE A DAVID THAT KILLED A GOLIATH

The idea of PRRD that directs his mind at such a tiny thing like a tiny dust, the “street idlers or tambay” must be given seriousness. Consider this, it is a tiny bit of dust that flies into the eye that sticks like a needle. PRRD, remember, is a Lawyer; Prosecutor, Mayor, and now our President. Remember also Senator Pacquiao who once upon a time, he was a street urchin, he was a goner dressed in filthy rags. But for the natural gift and a fierce dedication to match, MANNY PACQUIAO has risen to become a modern day icon for the Filipinos and to the entire people worldwide. 

Let’s not belittle any little idea that comes from the mind of a person because even just a butterfly can flap its wings and the little air puff pushes other air, which disturbs other air and can build and grow into a hurricane. Did you know that even the ‘meow’ of a cat triggered the minds of Albert Einstein and later various scientists were able to invent wireless transmission that started the existence of radios, and now, the computers?

I mean, let’s not criticize one another and each other just because we do not like him or he is just an ordinary person with an ordinary ability and with an ordinary mind. Just remember what was written in history that even Rome the most powerful empire in the world in its time was conquered by just the peasants whom the Romans called Barbarians because they are ignorant. Yes, the ability to think is possess by all, but the ability to think ideas that ignite greatness is possessed by few, an idea that creates a tiny ripple that when it crisscrosses from different centers of energies builds a current that will turn our nation from disorder to order, from rags to riches, from beggars to givers, from weak to strong, and not just the shadow but the icon. Just remember that ideas come from God and He uses people to change the situation, condition, and circumstances of the world.

THE TEACHER BECAME THE REBEL AND THE STUDENT BECAME THE PRESIDENT

PRRD wants to build a bridge to a rational world that the better part of humanity can cross, thus, he endeavors to have PEACE TALKS with the CPP-NPA-NDF. However, if you examine Jose Maria Sison’s idiosyncrasy, you will know he is not actually after of forging peace with our government, but he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. In any negotiation, you get some and lose some; it is a give and take proposition. But just imagine the demand of Sison to enter into peace talks is to release all the political prisoners first, which for PRRD, it was the only card he had to play, it was the only weapon he had in the arsenal that he thought would make an impact, thus, he could not accept.  

The uncompromising stand of Sison of take it or leave it, inescapably shows he is not after all for peace but to continue fighting. He doesn’t care about the lives that will be lost because he is in the safe haven in the Netherlands. Sison is like Emperor Nero that while a fire destroyed the city of Rome, he played his violin. Man, you have to be way more than you think, stand up, do something difficult and heroic that burst out of your barns. 

We have to be more realistic that in life, it is a two-way traffic, that it is not only all take for you but also you have to give. Do not be like a lion that always has the lion’s share, first to eat and last to leave, and then, sleep, play, and merry. Remember, in life, we may not have a big stashed away but no one knows what tomorrow brings. But the most important thing of all is when you will not be around anymore; the people you had helped will put it in words how wonderful life had been while you were in the world. The love and appreciation they had on you will be expressed and showered to all like the transmitter of the energies that the electric current is carried not only in but also over and around the wired world.

THE TORTURE OF A GUILTY CONSCIENCE

If only I had the chance to share these 6 important letters, the set of rules and principles, which are applicable and effective not only in police work but in all endeavors in life, the misencounter would not have happened. The 2 groups of men, the police and the army of the government, were marching in lockstep in separate ways in the hinterland of Samar on June 25, 2018, to kill the NPAs but instead, tragedy struck when these friendly forces fail to identify each other. The army fired a staccato of gunfire at the police forces killing 6 of them and injured 9. The cause of the misencounter was the failure to transmit properly the message of coordination. These 6 letters could have led the pendulum swing away from death into alive if known by heart, they are: CIA, which means, Common Sense, Initiative, Anticipation; and CCC, Consult, Coordinate, and Cooperate. I mastered the efficacy of these letters and I lectured about them on the PC and the Army during my time in the PC-JAGO in 1979 and onwards. The PC and the Army did not have any misencounter ever since until the Philippine Constabulary was replaced by the PNP. The 6 letters are easy to understand but how to impart them to the listeners is a different matter. I am telling you this, no amount of narrative whether in English, in Bisayan, or in Tagalog can do it. It must be mixed with examples, analogies, metaphors, and similes, and always with torture of a guilty conscience.

THE MEDIA MUST STOP PLAYING LIKE A TURTLE

Let me start with this story. God called PRRD and the entire Catholic Priests to settle their differences. The priests’ head told God: PRRD said that our God is ‘stupid’ and we want him punished and our witness is the media. God asked PRRD: is this true? PRRD answered in his usual combative stance without fear, yes God because it is my God who is perfect. Then, God said to both of them: you are both fathers in your own right—PRRD is the father of the nation; and you, is the father of your respective parishioners, that’s why you are called father. Now, listen, God said to them, leave PRRD to do his job for the nation; you, father, do your job as the father for your parishioners; and both of you stop your quarrel with each other so I will not be hit in the crossfire. And you media, God said with a dagger look, stop acting as a turtle by making the Elephant and the Hippopotamus engaged in a Tug of War. Shape up or ship out, trouble makerrrr, God rumbled.

The country’s problem: Drugs, criminality, corruption, rebellion are such that they are like tracing our finger on a Mobius Strip, going round in an infinite loop. We all have to learn to think ourselves into PDu30’s place; to put ourselves into his shoes, and to make room for PDu30’s hopes and dreams for our nation. For the more we can appreciate one another’s perspective, the more dimension and depth we add to our own. We look to the clerics for support for PDu30 to keep the parties on the path to peaceful co-existence as they take down the walls in their hearts. True peace depends on reconnecting the bonds of our common humanity. We will never move forward by closing ourselves off. The only way to grow is to reach out. In our interconnected world, there are no zero-sum games. We win or lose together. We all have a stake in peace and progress – for all of us are diminished by their absence. Let us work together to make peace and progress come true, for good. 

Let’s keep the momentum going; let's keep our spirit and attitude right in all things, and let our enthusiasm and zeal be tempered with much courage and wisdom. Let us always remember that "It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, he sends a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples to build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” We must forget the bickering that tears us apart, and instead of falling into the pits of knocking each other down we lift each other up.

PRRD IS NOW STOPPING THE VICIOUS CYCLE

After more than eight (8) years, I am starting again activating this Blog.

Our country has now reached a crucial point that the crisis is now stratospheric as if like a bubble about to burst. For me, what has prevented the bubble from being calamitous is only because the people have still something to eat and this is the only thin thread that keeps the government hangs in the balance. 

Thus, it is keeping precariously on a 24/7 close watch that it won’t falter. The wisest choice to save our country that is tossed to and fro as the waves on the ocean is what God had done during the time of Noah and Sodom and Gomorra, by termination and elimination but only those people that are absolutely needed and wanted to be eliminated. PRRD is the new breed of leader in the modern era like manna from heaven like a bolt of lightning the answer came from God because with his backbone and fury he can wipe out anybody and everything blocking his way. He thinks like God and the greatness of his vision reflective of the sentiments and aspirations of the people is influenced by God. 

PRRD was the only President who is now stopping the vicious cycle which has become a pattern and had formed a stronghold in our system where the pack of wolves—Clerics, the Oligarchy, the Drug Money, and Money dictate and control who will be our President, and then, these people are pulling the strings behind the curtain how our government will be run according to their wishes then laughing all the way to the bank. No wonder all these packs of wolves are now doing everything in frenzy mode and in a fever pitch to eliminate PRRD in return at all cost. 

I urge you Let’s support PRRD all the way or our nation will always be haunted by this vicious cycle of political leaders supported by a pack of wolves who keep coming and swarming like a plague of locusts taking turns at devouring and darkening our nation.
