I challenge Pres. Marcos, if you think
Corruption cannot be stopped, I can look at you in the eye and say, that with
your brilliance like your Father, Pres. Marcos, Sr., and my experience in
government for a continuous 32 years of service, and my exposure as, namely:
AFP JAGO assigned in Military Commission 28 prosecuting Martial Law cases; CDO
Criminal Prosecutor; and consistent No. 1 nationwide as Judge of the Agrarian
Court, DARAB (DAR ADUDICATION BOARD); 71 years old and retired, I MUST SAY, WE
BOTH CAN STOP CORRUPTION, AND IMMEDIATELY; and that’s a promise. I was also the
one in that October 4, 1990 MINDANAO SIEGE of Col. Alexander Noble and his supporters who
made them surrender when they seized two military garrisons in Cagayan de Oro
and Butuan. Mr. President, We must meet personally for brain storming. Truly, when it comes to
restoring the country’s economy back on track, DECISIVE ACTION TO STOP CORRUPTION
ISN’T EVERYTHING, IT’S THE ONLY THING.
Pres. Marcos just never gone around in his thoughts that stopping corruption is
the primary ingredient which ultimately holds the potential for the country to
prosper, which he is supposed to set to accomplish. Thus, the decision whether
he would take action against it or take the fall for it, was now in his hands.
Almost 6 months as President, the depth of his performance has been extremely
underwhelming that it’s absolute worst moving forward, herding the polity to
the boiling point. Corruption must be his utmost priority to address because
this gets at a lot of the underlying causes.
Due to Corruption, the country is constantly breaking up faster, farther, and
deeper than ever before, like everything is out of control, and Pres. Marcos
should know. Against this backdrop, it seems everybody in the government is in
a frenzy using their position to become important and arrogant, and waiting for
grease money to prime them up. With these corrupt officials, the nation has
wallowed in a pit of despondency.
Pres. Marcos cannot get not only a more dramatic ending but a more traumatic
kind of President if he will not start lifting his head in stopping Corruption,
and for the country to come back to its feet with a boom and a bam, peaking at
a brighter future and making the country better than it was before when he got
it. You don t win them all, but being honest, being right up front, tell people
what you're trying to accomplish and what you're willing to sacrifice to
accomplish it, is the best technique he can use to get the country back on its
feet.
Pres. Marcos’s misconception that just because most Filipinos have now become
very poor because of Corruption, they are often very suggestible and could
easily be swayed and get to fall in line. We all know his lackluster
performance, and his repertoire is digging deeper that was largely viewed as a
once in a blue moon aberration and they are in our collective memory ingrained
in us.
