MY FATHER’S DAY MESSAGE

We always hear the common expression, “like father like son”, haven’t you? Matter of factly, Children are the ones who will inherit the father’s identity or reputation he had created towards the public during his lifetime. So, it's very important, if a father wants his children not to suffer the stigma of his misdeeds and disgraceful acts, he, as a father, should focus on not repeating mistakes, and focus on building his character. He must be careful in what he is doing, and that he assumes or imagines that there are really no secrets in his life.

The essential characteristics of honesty, integrity, fair dealing and the highest ethical standards of the father must be displayed and spread at all times. Conduct, both at work and outside may have a direct effect on how he and his family are perceived by the public. Conduct, which is in keeping with these standards, will positively redound to the benefit of the family’s good image and reputation, and can surely heralded as a trademark to his offspring. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY.

THIS INCIDENT IS THE HIERARCHY THAT MAKES A DOWNCAST LOOK BROADCASTING OUR CONCERN

I’m going to take you through the moment that we’ll be talking forever about that gruesome 990 kilos worth 6.7 billion of drug cover-up fiasco. This is odd, it being committed by the colonels and generals of the PNP. Their mental condition is scary and depressing as the crime they committed shocked the country that added an unspeakable layer of horror and disrespect. These high-ranking police officials raised heavy red flags and sparked alarm in the PNP hierarchy in any capacity. I just hope this incident would be considered to be a breaking point, the last straw that breaks the camel’s back for the president to realize he has to get his hand on against these corrupt people in government who are continuously sucking in money like insatiable black hole to save the country.

It wasn’t about what they did but how they did it. The tangible, they just performed the biggest drug thievery of shabu that they confiscated during the raid worth 6.7 billion. Worst, they shielded police Sgt. Mayo who they arrested during the raid from any and all accountability. The intangible, they have destroyed the PNP Institution which is truly every citizen’s nightmare as these people are losing their minds. What is this supposed to mean? The answer is none other than such a feat is irrefragably a poignant example of how Corruption had eaten deep into the PNP; and certainly, encapsulate how irredeemably corrupt mostly our public officials have always been. Being the sinister overlords, an agent of chaos that they all are, they had enough audacity and courage to steal.

These Police Colonels and Generals are in embarrassment and the entire PNP are in humiliation right now. They need to get their acts together and get their organization back because clearly the wealth of views in the information space about our country has suffered as a result. That’s the big deal about it. It would seem that frankly all of the branches of government are in lockstep in their spin navigating their everyday life committing corruption like it’s just second nature for them that they just not even have to think about it; and they would never let go doing it. They all deserve scorn. Would the President just let that slide?

THE CRIME THAT MADE CONG. TEVES INFAMOUS AND UNWILLING CELEBRITY

A quiet community becomes the backdrop for a string of brutal murders. Negros Oriental has been a place of life, a place of welcome, and a place of paradise. The people have their culture that’s together and we’re aligned. Now, in a serendipitous turn of events, the rugged political veteran brothers Cong. Arnulfo Teves and Former Gov. Pryde Henry Teves allegedly cultivated a culture of violence on the Province of Negros Oriental and transformed it from a tool of love into a tool of hate. It has become a place of death, a place of hell; and a place of guilt where sorrow has brought sadness.

The Teves brothers possess the enigma of invulnerability because of their wealth, power, and influence that they weren’t afraid to bend or break some rules. But their sense of euphoria as the Kingpin in the Province were soon confronted with the painful consequences and what they thought have made them untouchable was in fact the one that catalyze their Fall from Grace.  Thereafter, Cong. Teves was caught in a maelstrom of his own making that went through the full spectrum to several murders.

The pivotal moment that caused Cong. Teves the kind of violent end was that incident on March 4, 2023 that brought the community reels from the senseless and barbaric nature of crimes. Gov. Roel Degamo, a dignified, loyal leader of integrity, together with his staffs were doing social services inside his residence that day and it only took a moment when the 9 assassins riddled them with staccato of gunfire; killing the governor and nine others. Nothing in the country’s history compares the incredible horrifying massacre that you can think of. All fingers from all the 11 suspects that were involved in the assassinations were more directly pointing at Cong. Teves as the true offensive mastermind.

You could see the terror in their eyes a straight up monster, a top-tier criminal, a kill freak. They kill without hesitation as if the genes to kill were directly ingrained in their bones. Now, the Teves brothers knew without a doubt that this was the end of the road for them. They fell into a grave dug by their own inner demons. Though it was only Cong. Arnulfo Teves that was indicted as the mastermind of the massacre, but the brotherhood was all together torn asunder. And the likelihood for Cong. Teves to escape conviction is close to zero.

We now see the man, Cong. Teves, on top of the world to the lower end of the totem pole; was going belly up on the verge of losing everything. Everyone wanted to send him off on an island to himself. People were not defending him, nobody. It was like Cong. Teves against the world. It is because he is one that is capable of evil far beyond anything your imagination could ever conjure up. I think it’s atrocious to take someone’s career, throw it in the garbage.

THE TALE OF CONG. ARNIE TEVES IS A CAUTIONARY ONE. IT'S A TALE OF WHAT HAPPENS THE MOMENT ONE DECIDES TO FLY TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN, AND GOT BURN FOR IT.

In the world of politics, opportunities can come and go in an instant. Cong. Teves   who possesses a great deal of power, influence, or wealth with some serious drip. His mediocrity only grew louder and louder that it became hard to stomach. In fact, Cong. Teves had grown big and he must have thought himself too big that he started full of charge and exude the human dimension, stand tall and displayed the worst manners Known for having short fuses. The people viewed him as an opportunist who would snap the bugle on impulse. There was a very imperious to him that quickly gained him notoriety. He thinks he was firmly in the saddle and his people are slaves who have to work under his feet.  Now, his name was bruised because he wanted more and that in life, not everything is all the way through in mighty handy.

The story of Cong. Teves can well be described as, the rise and rise and then the fall. He is now facing multiple murder charges as allegedly the mastermind in the cold-blooded killing of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo and 9 others, not to mention the other murder case in 2019. He’s trapped in coffin corner nowhere to go, and his dreary days will tell a lot about where he stands going forward. Although nothing was quite as cut and dry as it might appear, it wasn’t exactly the best look for Cong. Teves. Right now, he is disarmed and dismembered of everything because he had poked the bear and the bear was lashing out. Cong. Teves represents the modern-day Icarus, that because of his power, money, and fame, he believed he now knew what it felt like to be a God and in his newfound divinity he flew too close to the sun and got burn for it.

The moral of the story is about the dangers of being consumed by power and greed in the pursuit of wealth. It shows the things we should hold most dear in life is family love which happiness is worth so much more than any material possessions.

WHAT IS THIS THING THAT KEEPS HITTING THE HEADLINES ABOUT THE FIRST LADY?

Why does Pres. Marcos, Jr not see the way what God has given his family, the Marcoses, through him, a chance to reshape the despicable reputation of his father ex-Pres. Marcos, Sr where during the latter’s regime deception and corruption had become a way of life. To be the reverse from his father should have become his calling card. He must now begin the process of earning his good reputation back by doing a great job for the country and the Filipino people. Unfortunately, PBBM regresses and gravely underperforming as President. Everyone recognizes all the issues; thus, the criticisms reached a whole new level.

What is this thing that keeps hitting the headlines that in fact, according to the political analysts, the first lady Liza is now beating the drums in Malacañang. It is because PBBM, the normally dominant husband, is now simply a deer in headlights in the face of Lisa Araneta, the First Lady. She is now allegedly building Business Empire for the Araneta clan by controlling all big corporations that are subject to the regulatory dominion of the government. This notoriety that PBBM fiddled nervously crossing paths with his First Lady (FL) Liza Araneta has spilled over further; that FL Lisa has pushed PBBM into the very edge of what anyone should adore; and that he being almost sheep like and meekly subservient to the First Lady often with his tail between his legs. This causes PBBM to live with this cognitive dissonance in running the Philippines. The First Lady Liza has slowly sapped and blew up Pres. BongBong’s focus that over time he is constrained in the moves he could make for the country.

On this account, PBBM’S presidency, everything fell off the cliff that the haters came out of the Woodworks to viciously mocked and blast him. I guess it makes sense that everything in the Philippines is now straight up horrible because we have a President with a nose ring attached to him like a cow by the First Lady. Thus, the feeling of withering looks and the storm of human indignation were already unstoppable towards PBBM. He PBBM cannot escape the fact that the political analysts and the Filipino people will be constantly comparing his performances to that of his father and that's not a small bite to swallow.

One thing that's certainly worth considering is the fact that overall, PBBM has already made positive strides comparison with his dad, ex-president Marcos, Sr. Predictably, this will give PBBM a lot of trouble throughout his Presidency. If PBBM will have to consider his future and the future of the country, pulling out from his wife’s grip would be a significant point in his favor and that would be the icing on the cake to get things under his control, which will be very tough.

THE DECISION WHETHER PBBM WOULD GET BURN AND TAKE THE FALL FOR HIS FL LISA WAS NOW IN HIS HANDS. INDEED, THE OPTICS OF BEING UNDER THE THUMB OF YOUR WIFE ISN’T A GOOD IDEA AS THE PRESIDENT OF A COUNTRY. IF YOU ARE SUCH, YOU ARE NOT WORTH THE CHAIR THAT YOU’RE SITTING ON.

PRES. MARCOS, JR, HAS A DIFFERENT MINDSET

My issue with Pres. Marcos, Jr is his reputation as the Lord of the skies as he always travels to foreign countries over the heads of unsuspecting people with reckless abandon. The question is, whether or not he is trying to decide this based on what's best for the nation in the here and now, but oftentimes overlooking some more important issue which shouldn’t be overlooked? As an aside, I noticed Pres. Marcos is fun of using this phrase in his interviews, which is: “I LOOK AT THE SITUATION IN A DIFFERENT WAY.”

Indeed, Mr. Marcos has a different mindset in looking at things. Meaning, he valued acceptance and popularity towards foreigners more than the frightening times our country is facing.  And I may venture to say that he would not really back down from playing fast and loose with the issue of corruption. Clearly, Mr. Marcos is drawing a dichotomy between his faith to the foreigners to save our country, and that of rationality. For me, our faith must be based on what is reasonable, kind of —believe in yourself first and that the idea that people, regardless of who they are, and where they come from, matter.

We keep worshipping at the altar of America and European countries. We're blindly wedded to a set of lofty principles that everybody else in the world already ignored and considered them as self-centered. We think it's always a beautiful ideal to worship these foreign countries and wait for their blessed occasion. We’re getting short of breath already from running uphill to gain their mercy and charity. We've stuck with this silly notion that it's a mortal sin to ignore America and Europe as our savior when in truth we're the ones who are out of step today. Mr. Marcos is a person who didn't understand at least to a large extent that our country is now in a situation where it is going to be Armageddon we are facing with a sense of the clock ticking.

Let me be blunt, until we fix the problem of corruption, it's going for us to make less and less sense for our country to recover. Right now, we're falling behind and fast because of corruption. We must take our eye off the ball away from America and the European countries and get ourselves together in solving corruption.

AGAINST ALL REASON TRAVELING IS NOT OF MUCH HELP

As soon as Pres. Marcos became President of the Philippines, he and the first lady, and their entourage were routinely bouncing from one country to another at the drop of a hat with joyous abandon. Meanwhile, in every corner of the nation, corruption finds a way to seep into all institutions and establishments of the government, and private sectors everywhere. Corruption was bitten on the back burner because Pres. Marcos, Jr sleep on it. I am annoyed at his snarky attitude of luxurious travel which is a dumb move.

Whatever Mr. Marcos did and does as the President. I'll say, his life as President is going to have a tremendous void. The Filipinos have been denied of the essentials that humans need that could take them through in life because of corruption. The Filipinos made Mr. Marcos President because they perceived him as the confidence, the parquet floor, the mystique, the championship banner, the light unto the nation. But instead, he deprives the start of the process of resuscitating the country from its hemorrhaging economy, and the Filipino people a chance for a new life.

Pres. Marcos, Jr must realize that the problem is in our country and not elsewhere where traveling is the solution. Corruption is something that must keep him up at night, keeps him up most of the time. Solving corruption, is a commitment to progress and guided very closely by our national interests. Corruption is an important and unavoidable issue that we have to ventilate and we cannot also put it and sweep it under the rug, and pretend it's not happening.

Indeed, Pres. Marcos is not a part of the solution, instead, he is a part of a nationwide rampage of Corruption. Because in a way, beyond his acute awareness of the precarious condition of the country resulting to corruption, by resigning to solve it, he provided a protective cocoon to the corruptors to pulverize our economy, and bankrupt the government treasury. Corruption must be solved because the country is constantly breaking up faster, farther, and deeper than ever before.

Mr. Marcos must realize that his being a President is not for a show as what he is doing now. He must be realistic and determined to take issue with corruption. HE MUST TRY TO GET BETTER EACH AND EVERY TIME AND NOT TRAVELING ALL THE TIME.

I HAVE ONE AND ONLY ONE AMBITION FOR OUR COUNTRY.. TO BE A CORRUPTION FREE PHILIPPINES.

I challenge Pres. Marcos, if you think Corruption cannot be stopped, I can look at you in the eye and say, that with your brilliance like your Father, Pres. Marcos, Sr., and my experience in government for a continuous 32 years of service, and my exposure as, namely: AFP JAGO assigned in Military Commission 28 prosecuting Martial Law cases; CDO Criminal Prosecutor; and consistent No. 1 nationwide as Judge of the Agrarian Court, DARAB (DAR ADUDICATION BOARD); 71 years old and retired, I MUST SAY, WE BOTH CAN STOP CORRUPTION, AND IMMEDIATELY; and that’s a promise. I was also the one in that October 4, 1990 MINDANAO SIEGE of Col. Alexander Noble and his supporters who made them surrender when they seized two military garrisons in Cagayan de Oro and Butuan. Mr. President, We must meet personally for brain storming. Truly, when it comes to restoring the country’s economy back on track, DECISIVE ACTION TO STOP CORRUPTION ISN’T EVERYTHING, IT’S THE ONLY THING.

Pres. Marcos just never gone around in his thoughts that stopping corruption is the primary ingredient which ultimately holds the potential for the country to prosper, which he is supposed to set to accomplish. Thus, the decision whether he would take action against it or take the fall for it, was now in his hands. Almost 6 months as President, the depth of his performance has been extremely underwhelming that it’s absolute worst moving forward, herding the polity to the boiling point. Corruption must be his utmost priority to address because this gets at a lot of the underlying causes.

Due to Corruption, the country is constantly breaking up faster, farther, and deeper than ever before, like everything is out of control, and Pres. Marcos should know. Against this backdrop, it seems everybody in the government is in a frenzy using their position to become important and arrogant, and waiting for grease money to prime them up. With these corrupt officials, the nation has wallowed in a pit of despondency.

Pres. Marcos cannot get not only a more dramatic ending but a more traumatic kind of President if he will not start lifting his head in stopping Corruption, and for the country to come back to its feet with a boom and a bam, peaking at a brighter future and making the country better than it was before when he got it. You don t win them all, but being honest, being right up front, tell people what you're trying to accomplish and what you're willing to sacrifice to accomplish it, is the best technique he can use to get the country back on its feet.

Pres. Marcos’s misconception that just because most Filipinos have now become very poor because of Corruption, they are often very suggestible and could easily be swayed and get to fall in line. We all know his lackluster performance, and his repertoire is digging deeper that was largely viewed as a once in a blue moon aberration and they are in our collective memory ingrained in us.

PRES. MARCOS, JR. WILL NOT FINISH HIS TERM AS PRESIDENT

How wrong they’re all were most of the time? With the heat turning up against the government, Pres. Marcos through Sec. Abalos is trying to keep up appearances that they are in control? No, you’re not. Cherry-pick·ing out the PNP Generals and Colonels to file their courtesy resignation en masse just because the PNP is not prone to stage a coup d’état, is bias and unfair. This is yet another interaction where the legality and ethicality of the demand by Sec. Abalos doesn't necessarily align. And this interaction highlights the discrepancies that often exist between said official’s authority to uphold the law and his discretionary responsibility to do so ethically. Mr. Marcos had an entirely negative climate built up for a coup d’état that hunkers down for the fight of his life, and that’s really the bottom line. Pres. Marcos was almost at the end of his rope now. If there was nothing big in this one, he was done. It’s not the most popular thing in the world to say but that doesn’t mean it’s not factual. This is a situation headed for trouble. This dangerous mix of sophistication and savagery that would send the nation into a downward spiral, and the forecast was a stormy one.

Where now many are struggling because our country is dealing with human tragedy, economy is in tailspin, crisis of natural disasters, widespread corruption, and worst, with a President who keeps on traveling for leisure and spending spree with people’s money, and the people barely crawling themselves out of those circumstances. It’s the diversification and flair for the dramatic that just overwhelm that makes everyone able to exploit every opportunity that comes their way. Decades of institutional corruption morphed into a free market free for all. The bones for a bankrupt state like the Philippines that lead a story of lies were there to be picked over and the rapacious new gangster class rapidly arose, Criminal millionaires minted overnight.

All the foregoing vow to expose the sordid side of Mr. Marcos’s face. Destiny plays a fateful blow and even the gods seem to have abandoned us all. Truly, Pres. Marcos displayed a hostile and aggressive demeanor throughout the encounter; barked orders on whims and caprices instead of attempting to engage in productive communication. He is inherently or by its very nature bad, improper, immoral or contrary to good conscience. The brutal and malicious nature of this President that have risen to the surface just deflects the government power that he wields for ego and for control. He's completely ignorant to the fact that a normal person would watch him and be shocked and appalled to him.

THE PNP WILL ALWAYS FEEL MORTIFIED THAT THEY HAD BEEN SINGLED OUT

IN THE TV NEWS LAST NIGHT, the government through the DILG Sec. Benjamin Abalos, Jr. has called on the Generals and Colonels of the PNP to submit their courtesy resignations.  Sec. Abalos wanted some, if not all of them, to get the hell out of the way. Yes, as what I revealed in my fb posts comprising 22 of them  that started on October 18 up to December 18, 2022, I repeatedly declared, we got a lot of bigshot Corrupt Public Officials not only on the side of the aisle of the PNP, but also the officials and personnel in the entire government. They are the scalawags that everybody talks about whose reputation was taken as the basis for the image of the public officials in the government engaged in a variety of corruption activities.

Sec. Abalos said, they have already identified who are the Generals and Colonels that are involved in Corruption. If that’s the case, why he still requires these people to resign? Why does he not subject them to indefinite suspension immediate and criminally prosecute them in court?  Or shall we say, he does not have the “Balls” to nail them down for fear of retaliation. Yes, he must be afraid with his decision because it was a wrong move, it doesn't seem like there's a rhyme or reason. Why only the PNP Generals and Colonels that he is targeting at. Surely, this is flat out discrimination, and the PNP will always feel mortified that they had been singled out. This will surely piss off the PNP organization. How about the other branch of service in the military, and the entire departments of the government? Are they all immaculately clean?

The move of Sec. Abalos speaks of the level of Brilliance we're dealing with on this side of the aisle of our government leadership. They have never been the sharpest tools in the shed.

MY 22nd POST-- I’M HOPING PRES. MARCOS, JR WOULD HAVE A SENSE OF DÉJÀ VU WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FATHER.

Pres. Marcos, and his first Lady, have the same chemistry, connectivity and creativity. Both are always enjoying their tour around the world to flaunt their new identity to as many ears and eyes as they could reach. And while the first couple are jet sitting, our country, on the other hand, remain in decay and ruins due to Corruption. In hindsight, Mr. Marcos keeps dodging the bullet from resolving the widespread Corruption. He declared with implacability, he has nothing to do with it and “he will leave it as is” because it was insoluble. Truly, such conclusive pronouncement was inappropriately posited. It does not require a stretch of the imagination to conclude that it induces a condition of unrest, creates dissatisfaction with the conditions the citizens are in, or even stirs people to anger, move them to tears and sorrow, and inflict great pain. Moreover, such declaration has progressively escalated the frantic nature of the citizens’ safety and jeopardy which is reaching severity. With the said revelation, Mr. Marcos is digging his hole.

I don't see how any freedom-loving citizens of our country can look at Pres. Marcos and not instantly conclude that they don’t like what hurtful words Mr. Marcos had said. In fact, Pres. Marcos infringed his qualified immunity by violating clearly established statutory or constitutional rights of which a reasonable person would have known a right is clearly established; and that every reasonable official would have understood that what he is doing violates that right.  May I encourage Pres. Marcos to familiarize himself about the essence of his oath of office upon which he clearly broken; that he has the mandatory duty and obligation to protect and serve the country and its citizens, to provide security and welfare -- to make life easy, provided with good things of life. Pres. Marcos, being a quitter, he will not be able to bring the economy back on track with Corruption committed at will. Which is why, until now the people were still living in gloom and were gloomy due to unrestrained activity of Corruption committed by public officials because Mr. Marcos stoop to bow down to solving the same.

I can see the horror on the faces of the people. They looked distracted and they want to alert everyone what future the Filipinos is going to have. My mouth was kind of drawn and tight. By his words and action, I could tell that Pres. Marcos hasn’t considered the prevalence of Corruption in the government as something that should be taken seriously. With such unprofessional and heartless posture viz-a-vis Corruption, a fortiori, there's nothing stopping Mr. Marcos from doing more than that. His posture is indeed a slippery slope with no Safety Net.

I had little to do to process and gird everyone for what was ahead. In real time, the horror that played out in my mind and soul have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness, and unyielding anger across the board. But we had to resort to peaceful means through the power of the pen, and not through force, at least, as an opening stages of what will be a broad and concerted campaign to free the Filipino people against possible hardship or adversity due to widespread Corruption.

In this country of ours where a government via a President can destroy your life figuratively or even literally speaking for any reason at all, but we, Filipinos, ALWAYS not take it sitting down.  You can reference my point to what happened to former Pres. Marcos, Sr, the father of Pres. Marcos, Jr, in 1986. The nation had witnessed an act of EDSA REVOLUTION that ousted Pres. Marcos, Sr. I’M HOPING THAT PRES. MARCOS, JR WOULD HAVE A SENSE OF DÉJÀ VU WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FATHER.

MY 21ST POST-- THIS IS MY MESSAGE, THIS IS RIGHT FROM MY HEART, THIS IS MY DEEP-FELT POLITICAL BELIEF: SO LONG AS MR. MARCOS IS THE PRESIDENT, THE NATION WILL ALWAYS BE UNPRODUCTIVE DUE TO CORRUPTION.

In many ways, it is Corruption that is at the core of the Nation’s downfall or success, and at least, at the core of the views and the public opinion of foreign countries on the Filipinos. 99 percent of the Filipino citizens put the crime of Corruption in their top 5 priorities…and one in three say the issue of corrupt public officials is their number one concern. That’s because for us, the crime of corruption by public officials is a hurt we feel each day. Nearly 80 percent out of 110 million of our population are marginalized poor suffering from poverty. Look at the people sitting on either side of you. Imagine one was a marginalized poor, no food, no home, no job– forced to live on razor’s edge (kapit sa patalim). They are alive… but being alive is not the same as surviving.

We have to be concerned with Corruption, which is now widespread across the country because we’re living with its consequences. We don’t have the luxury of shifting our focus away. Otherwise, the more corrupt public officials gain leverage, they can exploit… and the greater the risk of instability we're going to encounter. That’s why we decry Pres. Marcos’s action in shifting away his focus from corruption. So, we, the Filipinos, must denounce the declaration of our Pres. Marcos for displaying blatant disregard to his Constitutional duties and obligations TO PROTECT AND SERVE THE COUNTRY AND ITS CITIZENS re: his revelation that he will just leave the issue of Corruption “just as it is,” which in tagalog, “Pabayaan nalang natin yan.” For this, his shameless persistence in a stern manner based on his ambiguous notion which he failed to elaborate further, is a gratuitous humiliation to himself and a testament to the true tone of his adamant stand to neglectfully solve corruption in government. This created a cloud of confusion and distrust upon him among the citizenry as to his capability, effectiveness, competence, and respectable presence as a President.

I respectfully challenge the logic and legitimacy of Mr. Marcos in declining to resolve the issue of Corruption. Moreso, the Filipinos strictly mean business and the President’s minute of fame were numbered and we have plenty of time to do it. It is worthy to stress, that any public official who displays such reckless neglect for Constitutional rights should have their authority questioned. Setting aside Pres. Marcos’s unprofessional remarks, much of his conduct could likely be considered unconstitutional. Indeed, Mr. Marcos demonstrated his ignorance of his rights and obligations as the President that would have a lasting effect that resonates throughout the entire country. In this case, Pres. Marcos’s conduct is unnecessary; likely illegal, and only served to create conflict. Pres. Marcos sealed his own fate via the Court of public opinion. Clearly, it is incomprehensible that Pres. Marcos, while acknowledging the proliferation of Corruption in the government but instead of obligating himself to resolve the same, he chose to ignore it.

Thus, the Filipinos are impatient when it comes to Corruption because time has not been a friend. Distraughtly though, the crime of Corruption in our government, which is our existential foe, seems like our leaders used to describe it as intractable, even insoluble. But for the many Filipinos, it is clear from the sequence of life that these Presidents that have gone and come, they are all indifferent to care about the issue of Corruption because they are also allegedly into Corruption.

THIS IS MY 20TH POST-- PRES. MARCOS IS WRONG, A LOT. WE HAVE NO PATH FORWARD AND CORRUPTION WILL BE THE CATALYST FOR THE NATION’S DOWNFALL.

With Pres. Marcos, Jr, walls are going up, not coming down. The decades have brought what feels like an endless parade of starts and stalemates … missed opportunities… shattered hopes… and diminishing returns. That illuminate the truths about our country’s situation and circumstances; this is now the quintessential examples of the effects of corruption that Pres. Marcos keeps evading to confront head-on. I JUST DON’T KNOW HOW HIS CRITICAL THINKING WORKS. YOU’LL BE THE JUDGE. The degradation is compounded by the sense that no one cares… that Pres. Marcos is oblivious to the hardships the Filipinos endure. And the worst threat of all is the cynicism so many people feel… the sense that Filipinos’ peace is hopeless… that we’ll never find a solution. If Pres. Marcos says we throw up our hands and say, “The problem of Corruption cannot be stopped,” we’re not just writing off a “process”… or writing off a “road map.” We’re writing off people’s lives.

The government treasury is always out of money that they’re now scrambling which source they will dive into to fund different important social services. It’s like tracing your finger on a Mobius Strip, going round in an infinite loop. What the government are now eyeing is the creation of the MAHARLIKA FUND using pensioners money and the money deposited in the Central Bank—JESUS-MARIA-E-JOSEPH, it feels like a blow to our very existence. You see, it’s not about how much money you earned; it’s about how much you can save and keep moving forward. Here’s the thing: Imagine our government has a container where all the country’s resources are stored in order to function effectively. No matter how many Billions the economy is pumping into the container that it took years to reach to save them, you can’t stop these Snakes being around on the very top of the food chain, and they bite off more than they can chew.

The President controls the doorway of the container, and he’s in charge of what he gives access to. But we are now living at a time when Corruption has the cultural significance in our country today. The corruptors/thieves have now taken up residence in the house. That means, they are connected to the supply line and they’re going to let it run dry. Fear, worry, doubt, insecurity that have ruled the space in our country are very strong because the thieves are all living in the house. Dragging us down, stealing our money, taking our peace. Your hatred has to go out to them as they actually sprinkled bad luck to the nation. That is the way it’s been, that’s the way it would continue, unless they will be stopped.

Mr. Marcos, Jr was given an honor and the responsibility by the 31 million Filipinos to be the President of our Philippine Republic. Then, the citizenry would now have a reasonable expectation the Pres. Marcos will do his duty and obligation as President. Clearly, Corruption is by any measure the biggest issue to be addressed by Pres. Marcos in our country. However, Mr. Marcos stated in that interview by Mr. Erwin Tulfo that and I quote “YUNG CORRUPTION, TALAGANG HINDI MATITIGIL YAN. DAHIL AS I KEEP REMINDING EVERYONE, CORRUPTION IS NOT A FILIPINO CONDITION, IT IS A HUMAN CONDITION.” This declaration by Pres. Marcos completely derailed his duties and obligations as President from the beginning. It’s kind of he just become the President of the Nation in order to pour salt into the wounds of the people. How many more damage our country will suffer due to the implicit bias of Pres. Marcos viz-a-vis corruption in his administration. Thus, he betrays both the trust of the public and the oath he has sworn to.

Now, the Filipinos are faced with an impossibly difficult and emotional traumatizing situation with Mr. Marcos. It demonstrates the lengths that he was willing to go in an effort to advance his own career at the expense of innocent citizens. Be careful who you have around as the President because a lot of people who you think you can trust, you can’t.

May I say to Mr. Marcos, if you're not able or you're not willing to live up to that honor and responsibility, get out of that position. I say to the good public officials in the entire administration, if you see a fellow official that's unwilling or unable to live up to that responsibility, don't tarnish your name by standing there doing nothing. You need to intervene; you need to say we are subject to the law and you may not violate the law by using your power to commit corruption; and you may not cover up a matter.

FOR PRES. MARCOS, JR, WE, THE FILIPINOS, NEED TO SEE SIGNS OF HOPE, WE NEED SUSTAINED COMMITMENT… CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT… AND LEADERSHIP… TO KEEP THE NATION ON THE PATH TO PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE. FOR NOW, YOU ARE A FAILURE. SAYANG LANG ANG 31 MILLION WHO VOTED FOR YOU. YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF MR. P R E S I D E N T.

THIS IS MY 19TH POST-- TOP-DOWN ASSESSMENT ON PRES. MARCOS, JR. AS THE PRESIDENT OF THE LAND

Although Mr. Marcos didn’t seem to care about corruption, we the citizenry should not allow his indifference to his oath of duty as the President of our country to dissuade us from exercising our rights to bring this issue to the public forum.

How many more damage to our country it would take for the people to realize that we have to unite and force the government to do drastic measure to stop the rising toll of corrupt public officials to continue their routine to ablaze the country with their trail of evil cons or will the good guys throw gas on their fire. God Bless the President, God Bless the Filipinos, God Bless the Philippines.

In hindsight, when Pres. Marcos, Jr. was interviewed one time by Mr. Erwin Tulfo what he will do about the corruption in the government, he answered: “Yung corruption, talagang hindi matitigil yan. Dahil as I keep reminding everyone, corruption is not a Filipino condition, it is a human condition.” This knockout statement without reasonable belief based on specific and articulable facts is a reckless disregard of his Oath of Office as President of this country. Hence, it is difficult to rationalize for its unproductive overreaction to do so, driven by his emotional responses rather than a desire to protect and serve the citizenry. Mr. Marcos also failed to consider the psychological implications of emotional distress, severe physical, mental, and emotional harm it would have to the Filipino people. This happenstance highlights a clear disconnect between the functionality and the implication associated with his position as President, and his interest in preserving the security, well-being, and logical practicality of his constituency. This shows two rough possessions in a row by Pres. Marcos, Jr.

Mr. Marcos’s reason why he believes Corruption cannot be stopped is clearly unreasonable because as President, his job is meant to be executed in service of the greater good of society. But sadly, the nature of his stance often created an environment conducive to abuse, and semantically justified wrongdoings. I’m almost certain that Pres. Marcos had been dealing with a mentally and likely physically taxing situation and he was under a lot of emotional stress for a litany of reasons that he was ignorant of the entire totality of the circumstances and the ramifications happening across the Nation as the result of Corruption.  Therefore, nothing that Pres. Marcos did was conducive to establishing an environment of trust and confidence with the citizenry and the entire world. By expanding on this analysis, Pres. Marcos, by maintaining his unprofessional and dispassionate attitude about his stance not to do anything about Corruption, this solidifies the notion he has obviously violated his oath of Office as President of the Philippines.

Indeed, Pres. Marcos, Jr in exercising poor discretion by choosing to ignore corruption rather than solving it, has violated several policy standards under the Constitution, and for demonstrating poor character and an overall questionable ethical aptitude. There’s no doubt that his decision to put the issue of corruption on the side line was a serious ethical question where a President in performing his mandated task must see to it that he is making the most reasonable and ethical decision possible within the bounds of his authority as President. He is required to perform his oath of office with honor under the Constitution. His oath of Office explicitly promotes accountability in maintaining high ethical standards, and that Presidents who neglect to consider the ethicality of their decisions are essentially betraying their oath.

For Pres. Marcos, in failing to fulfill his job description, he demonstrated a behavior that trivialized the social impact and diminished his relationship with his constituents and the entire world. I urged my fellow countrymen to bring his misconduct in allowing Corruption “to proliferate forever” be questioned in the proper forum. Corruption has now become a tradition and culture in our country, in the sense, that as public officials, it is natural for them to claim the privilege to corrupt without regard to the tears and sufferings to most of the citizens. The Filipinos are now among the scrub at the lowest level to the standard of living in the world. Our dreams in life were somewhere way off in the distance.

When you get into these bad signs, when more than one thing goes wrong at the same time, it can be kind of like a perfect storm that can be ominous. You cannot throw caution to the wind. Are we going to wait to hit rock bottom so we can get back up?

THIS IS MY 18TH POST-- WE ARE NOW FLOATING IN SHARK-INFESTED WATERS, OR GOING ABOUT INTO THE JAWS OF A LION AS PRES. MARCOS, JR. WATCHED INTENTLY.

There is no doubt that the lives of the Filipinos are eviscerated because of the corrupt system in the government. President Marcos, Jr. didn’t want to do anything about it because for him, “talagang hindi matitigil yan; it is a human condition.” This was the statement that pulled the bottom out of his world and made him regret his choices; the phrase is the caprice that seemed cruelly inappropriate for a President, kind of leaving the Filipinos floating in shark-infested waters to be eaten or going about into the jaws of a lion.

Pres, Marcos, Jr. failed to consider, that when you decide to confront the problem, it can lead to so many good things to happen. But sadly, he chose to cringed and shrank against the wall with an involuntary gasp from solving Corruption. This is a testament to his terrible exercise of his duties and obligation as President of the Philippines, and this type of conduct only serves to erode the public confidence on him. What he was talking about, that tells every Filipino that’s not just smoke, there’s some fire, then, that might be elevated to the point where Pres. Marcos, Jr. is willing to give up his people, making their lives a living hell. He is driving us down the trail of tears back to an emptier and lonelier house. That’s the bottom line.

If that’s the case, how would that be our country’s interest is difficult to fathom. How would pushing everyone to the grave making our country great again? The law of unintended consequences is surely in play. Being the President, Marcos, Jr. must emit a piercing whistle that gathers a head of steam too high and have the government on a string, and more importantly in his vision to get rid of Corruption. Corruption is in fact a fight in which there shouldn’t be any losers. But if Pres. Marcos Jr, chooses to back down from the challenge like a frightened rabbit, it will certainly end with no winners.

We must pressure Pres. Marcos, Jr. It’s like, “He who cannot obey himself will be commanded”. Therefore, let’s take him to deep waters to put his alleged vocation to give the Filipinos a better life to the test. Corruption, like a plague, has brought our country to economic doldrums and poverty. That was in a way hard to watch but in a way, you couldn’t look away. You know we are in a fight and we aren’t about to give any chances to be defeated, but to overcome what’s trying to stop you.

Pres. Marcos, Jr. should have known better that among the things that you think would preclude success to a country, nothing beats corruption that is wide ranging and uncontrollable, like the Philippines. His approach in refusing to solve corruption because “It was not a Filipino condition, but a Human condition”, trampled his duties and obligation as President to compile a pathetic excuse without reasonable basis. Truly, Pres. Marcos, Jr. preposterously worked this hard to neglect common sense by not doing anything about the problem of corruption in the country for which he is the President regardless of the illegality or immoral connotation associated with the inaccuracy of his action and decision.
