A TURNING POINT IN DESTINY

Hello, on today’s POST, we take out cue from PRRD (President Rodrigo Roa Duterte), the unforgettable image of the angel of history blown towards the future but with his face turned towards the ruins of the past.

Likability is absolutely the crucial factor in becoming successful. PRRD, you must have ruminated that you have the 80 percent of Filipinos whose loyalty is unquestioned as they expect too much from you. This will be a tragedy for them to suffer further the consequences of Corruption, Election Sabotage, Drugs, and Criminality if nothing revolutionary is done. PRRD, do not wait to cross the river when the water has all run down. What good is the grass if the horse is already dead?

PRRD, you are now in the situation likened to Shakespeare's “Hamlet,” "I must be cruel to be kind. If you show compassion to these downtrodden not to suffer further, REV GOV (Revolutionary Government) is the only solution to end their misery and perdition. This may be an issue for your enemies as destructive but you have a legitimate cause and where destruction becomes construction liberation occurs.

I feel moved to reaffirm my feelings of exultation, joy, and gratitude for the superb triumph that marks such a great turning point in our country with your leadership. But all these will be futile and in vain if you'll let these detractors obviously swayed by the tide of human indignation continue to keep you away from your goal.

You have started on the right track for our country and with it; the possibilities are endless in the game of life! If you want to continue your winning streak you cannot play it safe but to risk it all as in gambling, you have to parlay your winnings into an even bigger fortune through the REV GOV.

During a period of great national exhaustion and severe austerity, the mere act of launching upon a REV GOV will, of necessity, likely to result in or show signs or success which will enable a swiftly marching community now standing on the threshold of doom and gloom into far greater promise, and endowed with vastly superior spiritual potentialities.

The Filipinos now stand too near the structure and our hands are now rearing to visualize the dimensions of our future glory. Alive to our inherent capacity, conscious of our high responsibility, aware of the sacredness of our mission can do no better than to step resolutely forward on the chosen path, unshakably confident that with every step we take a fresh outpouring of Divine grace will reinforce and guide our march on the high road of our destiny.

THOSE WHO LUST CANNOT LAST WITH THE REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT

Our country is now as fragile, weak and sickly as a flower eaten away by a hidden worm. So, what must be done then? Why aren’t we like that wise old bird standing on an oak that the more he saw the less he spoke, the less he spoke, the more he hears. I mean, the Filipinos must do their best in this very difficult circumstances if only to put a broken country back together.

Going back along the forgetting curve, by provably linking the present to the distant future when we will know so much. I find myself thinking we can be enriched by one another’s diversity for the more we can appreciate one another’s perspective, the more dimension, and depth we add to our own. All of us want a better life. Time is against us and we the 80 percent that support PRRD need to get our acts together and move very quickly.

Corruption has gotten to this point that it shows the depths of this crisis have descended to and it has set a terrible trend for the way we live our life. We have to be concerned with Corruption because we are living with its consequences. The crisis is almost a nationwide numbness to disaster, and that’s something that stands to harm all of us.

I remember fully well when PRRD warns the detractors that his bubbling temper is hidden only by a thin surface layer of civilized restraint and soonest a REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT might be established. How long are we going to wait for that D-Day to liberate our country from the evils of Corruption, Election Sabotage, Drugs, and Criminality? It is difficult to imagine how PRRD could have thought of plucking out such kind of strand to himself to the detriment of his reputation and his presidency. Is it a false statement coming out of the barrel?

YOU CAN FIND GOLD IN THE DIRT

I am extremely concerned with what PRRD had floated last Tuesday that he is contemplating of stepping down because even he is not letting every shot in the bow unanswered it seems corruption doesn’t seem to go away. Sir, you might have plenty of men but there are only a few who are real policemen and soldiers. The rest are only making phony wars on terrorism, the war on drugs, and the war on corruption. The phony wars are merely a cat-and-mouse game being fought with one hand and fed with the other.

The point I am driving out is that there are only two categories of people in our society, and they are the very rich, and all the others are poor. Between the two, there is an ocean difference as to the application of the law; the implementation of the law; and the dispensation of justice. The rich people have all the advantages because they can always flaunt the law. If they are caught, they can always turn the result of the investigation to their side. If the case reaches the court, they can always tip the scale of justice in their favor by bribing the judge. A lot of it isn’t good and the poor are crawling themselves out of those circumstances.

If this is the case, who would not want to become very rich? And to think that the only way to become one is to corrupt either in the government or the entrepreneur or be a drug lord. This is the reason why corruption is extremely difficult to stop or even minimized. I’m here to warn people and you keep on taking me in stride, this isn’t a game, life has largely gone dark. Everybody wants to corrupt because there is heaven up there. So that, if you seek advice from your surroundings who are rich, their ideas only focussing on how to corrupt some more, they can never tell you the right solution.

Can we solve Corruption? Yes, we can and everybody who belongs to the dark side of life like us has the most reliable idea. We, the poor ones have been thinking all the time from sunrise to sunset about the said solution because we are already etching closer to the edge of a cliff and we are impatient of the situation, in the sense, that even if we are right, even if we are the victim, we always lose in the game against them.

Mr. President, You can find gold in the smallest of details which springs from the fountain of good conscience if you’re willing to be patient. Sometimes even the mightiest creature in the sea needs help from the weak and the meek because their clever techniques and methods can move one mountain and build another. After all, Big Things come in small packages.

YOU ARE THE WINNING BRAND NOT A DEFEATIST

Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD) said last night, Tuesday, during the launching of the Go Negosyo’s “Pilipinas Angat Lahat” program: "Sinabi ko sa mga sundalo at sa mga pulis, 'Guys, I want you to know that I am thinking of stepping down because I’m tired,".

TO MY BELOVED PRESIDENT, try to read this:

You have to be mentally prepared for possible violent confrontation. If you are shot or injured, that does not necessarily mean that you are going to die. If you give up, if you lay down to die, then that’s exactly what will happen, you will die. If you give up the will to live, your spirit would dissipate, will disappear. If you lay down to die, most probably the subject that got you in the first place is going to come around the corner, come around the car whatever, and he’s going to shoot you at point blank range and you will die. So if you lay down to die, the message is you will die. You have got to maintain the will to live.

PRRD, I know you are drowning in a sea of grief because you were overwhelmed by the enormity of the problem of corruption and you feel helpless like you’re being pulled underwater. You feel the stench of failure coming on. Nevertheless, from day one, you have distinguished yourself as a Leader of substance, and although your words cut deeper than a knife and your angry words were bullets to many, but your heart is a cold iron.

All Filipinos know You have the fillip; courage and all that was required to fight for the common man. PRRD, you have already relished in encountering the devastating force of the domineering corruption syndrome persistently troubling our country. For a Leader as ebullient as you are, the road to success in your leadership would never have been too tortuous. Your exemplary life has taught you that “from the cradle to the grey days is a war, do not rest on your oars in your effort towards a greater height in life”.

It would be unfortunate that You, PRRD , who had good intention for your people and beyond could not be fortunate enough to fulfill your life’s aspiration; to totally liberate our country from the exhaustion of the domineering power of corruption. Perhaps the scale of corruption you are facing tended to blind You to the fact that not every person is endowed with the same measure of energy, enthusiasm, and ability as You were blessed with.

Yes, the road to free the country from corruption was a ribbon stretching across the desert but as you tread along, you are also the thunder of a mighty lion which stomach was a bottomless pit.

Just remember, the hardest is found in the easiest. Everything in war is easy, but the easy things are difficult. Pls, DO NOT GIVE UP and be perceived as a defeatist, which You don’t seem to fit. For 30 years as a politician, you never lost in the election, including the presidency. This is the inexorable proof that you are THE WINNING BRAND. 

THE PERFIDIOUS FORCE IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES

The two military officials Brigadier General Edwin Leo Torrelavega, and Commander of the V. Luna Medical Center Colonel Antonio Punzalan, and 18 others involved in questionable deals worth P17-million are treating their comrades in arms in a manner that is against traditional values and virtues, or even common sense, and social standards, leaving them in endless pains. They are no longer humans...humans have various emotions and desires and live for emotion.

The soldiers put their fate on these Officers to save them from death and a chance to live longer. But what did they do? They stashed the money entrusted to them for their personal gain without compunction whatsoever, unconscionably unperturbed that if their comrades in arms will die who will be capable enough to step into their shoes as the head of the family that would take care whoever is left behind.

These AFP Officers should have known that in them, the poor had solace; in them, the afflicted had consolation; in them, the down-trodden had hoped; and in them a good companion to all, irrespective of class or rank. But because of what they have done, they’re no longer one of the ordinary human beings, and they couldn't even go back anymore, they really can't. The difference between them and ordinary people had been downright lost.

How could these officials turn their backs to the immorality of leaving their soldiers to die in pain? We, therefore, learn nothing about ourselves if we do not examine this part of our psyche.

THE RAIN AND SHABU ARE FLOODING OUR COUNTRY

A ton of shabu worth P6.8 billion hidden in several magnetic lifters got out of Customs in Manila like a fog that comes on little cat feet. Only the empty containers were found at a warehouse in Barangay Francisco Reyes in General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite. The shabu could have already made its way to the streets of Metro Manila by now and eventually, into the provinces. While BOC chief Isidro Lapeña was aghast and flabbergasted of what had happened, some people in the Bureau of Customs (BOC) that are in cahoots with the drug were laughing all the way to the Bank.

The narrative about the BOC being helpless all the time is like festering sores, the stigma attaches to it, will continue to agitate the nation like a story that doesn’t know how we will end. What should PRRD do about this?

In Occam's razor philosophy, the simple approach is usually the better one. In the case at bar, the simple approach is who are the persons of interest and they are the people in proximity to the arrival and the release of the ton of drugs. Once identified, immediately order for their suspension while they are being subjected to custodial investigation. Then, make the process of elimination as you are also offering a bargain for a state witness. Finally, file the case of PLUNDER under REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7080.

Crimes like this instant case are usually committed by vicious felons in secret and under the condition where concealment is highly probable and so direct evidence is impossible. Thusly, resort to circumstantial evidence is the second option after all; direct evidence is not the only matrix wherefrom a court may draw its conclusions and findings of guilt.

Let it be said, the highest reward that can be bestowed on public officials is the esteem of their brethren. This esteem cannot be purchased, perfunctorily created, least of all, gained by grandstanding by showing their supposed haul of smuggled goods in front of TV Cameras and spotlights with the fuse. It emanates solely from integrity, character, brains, and skills in the honorable performance of professional duty.

This analysis shall delve into the text and underlying assumptions from my possible readers and filter the gold from the dustpan, to speak figuratively.

THE TAIL WAGGING THE DOG

Beyond the ocean depth what we see are pitch black. This is what is like in Imperial Manila which is located beyond the farthest stretch and distance, everything cannot be seen. Our knowledge about what is happening in Imperial Manila is limited to what the media reveals, but the news is screwed up facts, twisted information, and fake to fool all of us. It's tough finding out what is happening because there are not many resources you can rely upon. It just makes you realize there is more to life than what you see on TV. Billions and Billions of pesos and death toll are counting up in vain from the litany of frauds, misrepresentations, and deceptions that have been committed and have just been discovered.

Recently, the electoral sabotage by the COMELEC in 2016, what did the media do? They have done what it’s called “The Tail Wagging The Dog.” This describes a situation in which the thing which should be driven by circumstances instead is the thing driving the circumstances, it is a role-reversal. In modern times, an example would be the phenomenon of a news outlet reporting about an unimportant situation so often and so fervently that the situation becomes important, instead of the news outlet scheduling its reportage around situations that are inherently important. This is inescapably clear, that the Yellows who are the architect of the gloom and doom in our country and they have no self- pity, no remorse, no regrets, just determination to sack and drain empty our body and soul, the media, in general, is a conspirator.

In everything, there is a season and seasons have determined the ebb and flow of life and death. WHEN SOMEONE IS TREATING YOU AS IF YOU ARE ANIMAL LIKE PIGS AND DOGS, RIGHT AWAY THAT RAISES THE HAIR ON THE BACK OF YOUR NECK. Is this not the time now we shake these people up and throw their world into a tailspin? I am but alone. You can’t change the world alone. You will need some help from someone to help you paddle.
